Wonderful to freeze leftovers in or make a large quantity of something and then freeze it for later.When frozen you can easily remove the contents and then store them in either a freezer bag or aVacuum seal bag. Pull out when you need it. Excellent quality, easy to use, release easily just push the bottom up. Highly recommend. Excellent price and their easy to clean. Think chopped veggies, carrots, peppers, or hamburg, little single meatloafs, meatballs, freeze mixed eggs for scrambling. The usesare endless. Soups, chili, chicken broth or bone broths. Plus you can bake in them. Great size. I love the fact they hold two cups. After I received the first set I bought another. Wish I had gotten them sooner. Theyare so well made and I love the little handle extension on the sides. Fit on top of each other, easy to store.Great items to have especially with Thanksgiving and Christmas coming. Freeze individual leftovers.. One will hold enough for another Dinner and sides for one person. Haven't done this as yet but you could freeze water for large ice cubes to use in punches. Good to freeze soup, nice individual cups. Silicone is soft so before the soup freezes you need to be careful when setting it down. Needs to be flat in the freezer.

Just got them yesterday, very sturdy, used them to freeze chicken noodle soup I made, worked great ! Used again today for chili, love the part that you can use the portion you need and not waste food

I mostly use it to freeze leftover stock, soup, stew, and my “famous” red sauce (famous? at least to my neighbor who keeps asking for more).The rigid frame really helps. It keeps the tray steady during the transfer to the freezer which can be a delicate move when your bottom drawer is already packed. Not quite a ballet, but definitely requires a little care. This tray makes it manageable.If you fill it properly and don’t spill, the lid gives you a nice, almost airtight seal. Once frozen, I either thaw a cube for lunch the next day or pop it out and repackage for longer storage. It’s a handy system, and this tray is solid.

I seldom write reviews, but this product was so exceptional that I need to. These things are amazing! Before the start of school, I batch cooked a ton of food and portioned it out into these perfect individual portions. Great for lunches or busy evenings when I don't have time to cook dinner. They are oven safe, so things like spanish omlettes can be made right in the trays. They have a metal stabilizing bar so they are easy to handle. They're also freezer safe, so I could directly freeze things that didn't need to be cooked. I started with the 1-cup sizes but they worked so well that I bought half-cup size ones to make breakfast bars. Perfect.
