My First Book of Colors: Scholastic Early Learners (My First) Board book – January 26, 2016

My baby loves this book! It's a fun way for her to learn about colors.

Awesome book for our early learner baby. The different colors and associated pictures are really good. It also shows what color you get when you mix 2 different colors. It is very light weight and easy to hold. Definitely recommend it for infants/toddlers.

This book is super fun. It's a great way to teach my toddler about colors.

I had high expectations on this book. The idea of color mixing windows is awesome, I'm sure it will be mind blowing for a young child, except one problem: There's too many repeated primary colors.With 14 pages, your child get to learn about the three primary colors and three secondary colors.I understand the writer was trying to balance out the color pages so the color mixing windows would work, but some repeated colors pages are not necessary, they could have been replaced with neutral colors like white, black or grey. It's kind of annoying to see red, yellow, and blue two or three times within the limited 14 pages.If possible, I wish it would introduce brown too.But let's be fair. For a price lower than $5, the book served its purpose as an introduction of color mixing. I haven't seen any other book transfer color mixing better than this one.

Nice book vibrant pictures and colors

My almost 2 year old loves this book!

Cutw concept with the colored see-thru "windows" on the pages to make the secondary colors. However, it repeats the primary colors, which is confusing for toddlers. Also the front and back covers are made from foam board and are not sturdy at all.

I have no idea why my 9 month old granddaughter likes this book so much, nor what she’s learning from playing with it - but it’s made the cut and become a regular feature in our book time.

Excelente livro, minha filha amou! As páginas são grossas, fica fácil de passar as páginas. Ela aprendeu o nome de vários objetos.

I love the quality of the pages and the colour quality. Definitely recommend.

Best part of the book is its colour mixing windows. Three colour are repeated but these are the primary colours used to mix with others also the layout of the book requires it. Even though the colours are repeated but images are not. Since the recommended age of the book is 0 + years it is better to start off with the basic colours rather than more complex colours and their variations. I like this book because it introduces the child to mixing of colours, something that is very basic and will help the child in understanding the more complex colours later on.It is a board book hence good for toddler hands.One star less because the book arrived in a dusty and dirty condition. I had to clean it with a wet wipe but the pages inside were clean so i didnt return . I wish the sellers had valued their customer and done this themselves rather than dispatching a dusty book.

Mi bebe de 14 meses tiene muchos libros y no se que tendrá este en concreto que la encanta. Será el patito de la portada y los círculos de colores pero siempre me lo señala para que se lo enseñe. A mi me parece súper original las páginas con la mezcla de los colores y la gusta tanto el libro que creo que será sencillo que los aprenda más adelante, lo buscaba en inglés para así forzarme yo misma a ir hablándola palabras sueltas fáciles como colores y animales en este idioma desde bebé. Como información práctica decir que mide 18 x 18 cm y que las hojas son de cartón con las portadas gruesas (rellenas como de goma eva). Espero que te sea útil mi reseña!
