If its organic where is the label usda certified? where does this come from?

We have several different products and our farmers are in Germany, Holland and USA. We pride ourselves in support the traditional family farm. We meet or surpass all USDA standards; however, some of the small, family-owned farms we buy from can't afford the government's often-hefty fees and lengthy cert. process. Instead, many have opted for third-party certification such as Certified Naturally Grown (CNG). This label is the main alternative to the USDA Organic label and uses the same National Organic Program quality standards. We have the strictest quality controls. Quality and safety are paramount in gelatin and bone broth production. Our production system uses ISO 9001:2008- and 14001:2004-compliant. All of the facilities, worldwide, meet the high quality standard FSSC-22000. The state-of-the-art production processes guarantee the highest levels of production safety and efficiency. Constant monitoring at every stage of production ensures and documents the quality of each product throughout the entire value chain. This involves ongoing in-process controls as well as physicochemical and microbiological tests on all intermediary and finished products, all in accordance with standard international guidelines. Some of the tests used to verify purity are: ICAP - Inductively Coupled Aron Plasma and ICP-MS - Inductively Couple Plasma - Mass Spec.

Is the bone broth gelling powder also hydrolyzed? And can the gelling powder be used in shakes without clumping?

This is a gelatin powder, meaning it will gel when cooled. Gelatin will be more of a thickening agent in shakes. If you don't want them to be thicker, we recommend one of the hydrolyzed (non-gelling) powders. All of our powders are hydrolyzed unless specified with "Gelatin" in the name of the product.

Why there is no usda organic green and white stamp, just saying is organic is not making a product organic

All of the sources carry organic certifications EU, EKO and BIO. That is how we can ensure purity as these European Organic standards are more strict than the USDA standards.

I saw kathryn, sept 20, 2017 said many of their sources certify with cng, but where's that stamp/label?

The politics of organic labeling for the small family farm can be complicated. If a large batch (many tons) utilizes material from 100 small farms, each of the individual farm’s certifications matter. If 75% have USDA, 23% CNG, 100% EU Organic, 100% EKO, 100% BIO, 100% Kosher, etc. We can only label what is the same or 100% for all of the farms. If all of them carried the CNG it would be redundant, but we would use it too. As you can see, we have the EU, EKO, BIO, and KO.
