As a musician, I like that the sounds of the instruments aren’t super fakey, and that, for the most past, each instrument plays something suited for itself. (Mozart’s Rondo alla Turca for piano, Vivaldi’ Spring for violin, solo Bach suite for cello...). The book is soft, with bright colors and other than the egregious position the cat has while playing the violin, those are pretty good overall, too. In addition to all this, the first copy they sent had a faulty sensor on the violin page and they let me ship it back for free for a replacement that came in the next day! Can’t complain about that! Very pleased with my purchase!!!! (And my 18 month old loves it!)

The instrument sounds from this book are the best, most accurate, and most pleasant sounds you may ever hear from a child’s music/noise-making book, and I’m not kidding. No issues with sound or breaking x 2 yrs. Most appropriate for 12-24 months cuz they understand how to make the sounds work, but I’d recommend for any age.

The sound quality of the instruments is wonderful. With many children's books, an overly synthesized sound is what you expect. The orchestral recording is wonderful. Our daughter loves this book and our friend's daughter loves this book, so we decided to purchase this as a gift for our nephew and another for a another friend's daughter.

Love the sound of this book for grandbabies, but we can't keep purchasing if it won' play. One came without working batteries, so we invested in batteries. Now my sweet two year old grand daughter brought it back to me asking for new batteries again already, and after replacing them again I got into it and found the wire disconnected. I could fix that too, if I had an extra hour in my day, but should I invest in a third one for the new baby??

This was the first book that my grandsons absolutely loved. They are twin boys and they Now can make it play themselves and they really like it

This product would have received five stars if it were not for one of one the instruments (the saxophone) having stopped working within a couple of months of purchase. That is not satisfactory for an item that costs as much as this one. Otherwise, my grandson loves it, but we have to talk about the saxophone being "broken" every time we look at it. Also, this is the second time I have purchased this book. The first one lasted well with my granddaughter, but when the batteries gave out, I was unable to get it to work again with replacements. I don't know how to contact the manufacturer and would not purchase again at this point.

I bought this for my grandchildren when they were 6 months old or younger. We've played the different selections over and over and the book keeps playing. This has been a favorite for both grandchildren and their parents.

Great book. Only thing is there isn’t a musical one that plays all the instruments at one orchestra
