Sigma LH1050 Lens Hood (150-600 mm F5,0-6,3 for DG OS HSM Contemporary LH1050-01)

Fits my lens, perfect fit what I needed

This is an actual oem sigma hood replacement. Fits and works perfectly on my Sigma 150-600 C. The seller I bought from wasadorama, and their shipping leaves MUCH to be desired to be kind.

Has bayonet mount as my original did. Sigma LH1050 is the exact replacement of the lens hood I lost that came with my Sigma 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary lens! Adorama has this more reasonably priced than other replicas that don't even fit right.

If you bought the 150-600mm Contemporary Sigma lens (I got mine from B&H Photo), IT SHIPS WITH THIS LENS HOOD IN THE BOX!I bought the hood at the same time as the lens (before it shipped). Now I have two hoods. Maybe my fault for not reading the lens description close enough when ordering the lens.Be careful. This hood fits the Contemporary lens but not the equivalent Sport lens.Good hood that bayonet mounts, but there's not really a detent or a button release and while not loose, is certainly not a tight, friction fit. I find that it can un-mount on its own over time. Going to try and put something discrete on the bayonet thread to see if I can tighten it up so it doesn't fall off on walking excursions. Only happened once, but now it's scuffed. Good thing I have two!
