The fabric of this blanket is soft and incredibly cozy. the satin trim goes around all four sides and isn't brittle or scratchy, but soft like a true satin trim. I ave a full size bed and this blanket fits it PERFECTLY. Lots of drape but not so long it catches on my dust ruffle. Light weight but warm.

It's hard to find a good, warm traditional blanket that fits a standard size bed. We don't have a queen or king sized bed that fills our bedroom with bulky furniture, so we've continued with the standard size for 61 years of marriage. This OakRidge blanket is listed as full/queen and it measures 86" long by 64" wide. It would fit a queen bed just fine, but it also fits our standard 'full' bed with a reasonable side overhang that's well covered by the bedspread. This blanket is advertised as 'cozy, soft, warm, Satin Fleece Blanket.' It feels like the one my mother gave me as a wedding gift over 60 years ago. It's washable, comes in several colors, including the white that I bought. I love it! It also comes in king size, not a size I'll ever need--but you might.

This is a beautiful blanket. Medium weight and warm. My mother loves it and the "satin" border!

This is a nice soft blanket but it's to hot for me. I get very hot at night but my husband does not. He loves it.

This is not a super soft fabulous fleece with extra silky binding. This is an Old School scratchy blanket and stiff sort of plasticky satin binding and I had given up hope of ever finding another one! My daughter loves it as it replaced her ratty old childhood blanket.

Best blankets ever! Not too heavy, not too light, breathable yet warm. We keep our house at 62° overnight and are warm enough with just this blanket and a bedspread on top without making us sweat like some blankets do. Reminds me of blankets we had back in the day, but not scratchy. The company made a mistake and only sent me one of the two I had ordered, but made it right without a hassle. Very reasonably priced, as well.

Everything about this blanket is pleasing and I have one on my bed right now. Before I'd tried it I ordered a second but unfortunately found the weight of two of these blankets would be heavier than I could tolerate. It's lighter than some, but heavier than I had expected.. need really light covers. s
