The hanger was very easy to install, although the level was off slightly. It is very sturdy with the two sides easily sliding together. It took only a few minutes to fully set up.

Needed to hang a large heavy bulky wood framed mirror. Removed the hangers that came with mirror so it could hang flat and tight against wall. I used two screws directly into studs and another screw into a drywall screw setting. I always prefer stud mounting heavy objects. I also used a handful of smaller screws to attach the mount to the mirror. The mirror still took two people to lift onto mount due to its weight. French style mounts like this are the best way to hang heavy objects.

Great value and quality. I purchased this to hang a 7 x 3-foot solid oak door from the 1930s as my headboard.My super assisted in the installation process and the included level was perfect. The provided hardware worked great and this cleat supports with peace of mind. It was installed into drywall and studs without any issues. Extremely satisfied. Excellent quality and value. This is my 3rd purchase of Hangman's products.My first was to hang a large framed painting. I was able to complete that with ease.My second one was for a large bathroom mirror and it also was a breeze.My latest challange was for my mother-in-laws bedroom where she had picked out a large wooden heavy headboard. So I bought an adjustable base mattress that did not have a bracket to attach a headboard. So I found this and decided to hang it on the wall. I’m rather handy so when I saw this came with those fantastic screws that act as anchors I was beyond thrilled. It comes with a little level to slide into the bracket so it’s easy to level. And then the self tapping screws for the part that goes on the the item being hung are great. The headboard is a king and it went on perfectly without a hitch. Great item.
