I purchased this for a once in a lifetime holiday to Canada, and don't regret a single penny. It enabled me to produce some really nice and quirky footage, which makes the final result that much more interesting. I did, and I would, recommend that you watch some videos on tips and hints. There are some really good channels on youtube, so worthwhile investing some time watching. It has an excellent build quality. light and comfortable to carry. Easy to setup. Since purchasing mine, a newer model has been released, but I don't believe there is a great difference in functionality. The clip that goes on the phone is magnetic and fits the phone snuggly. The only issue is you have to have it central to the phone so it may or may not interfere with side buttons. The magnetic clip is very powerful and unless you shake it really excessively, has never fallen off. The DJI Mimo software is very reasonable however you have to download it and install (Android) manually as it is not in the playstore. Why? I don't really know. You can use your native cameral software though, but the Mimo does add more options. My only gripe with the software is that your phone connects via bluetooth and when you put it into suspend mode, more often than not it doesn't automatically reconnect. I also had an issue which I reported to the DJI which was to do with the software not correctly identifying the GPS location, so registered a lot of my video being in Russia rather than Canada. They did eventually acknowledge the bug and hopefully by now has been resolved.

I bought this for recording model trains. It works as a charme and it is especially nice if you want to record a model train, while also controlling the speed of the train. You can mark the train to be tracked, so the device will make sure it follows the model. You don't have to control the camera then. The only downside is that you can't set the device to be used holding the grip horizontally. When recording at model train events, you have to lower yourself to record on eye level. You can't hold the device like a fishing rod, as it expects to be hold vertically. Would be nice if there was a setting that you can select the way you want to hold it. Other than that, a brilliant device and for £100 well worth it.

Great little gimbal to carry around easily, extension rod an added bonus. Requires using DJI app to get full benefit of software integration. Slightly limited capabilities when using other apps in conjunction with gimbal. Tilt axis is restricted and can be limiting at times where other gimbles benefit from a much greater tilt range. Would recommend to iPhone users.

I bought this gimbal this week. I don't know if I was expecting miracles, but I have been very disappointed with it. It's so finicky to use, the range of motion is extremely limited and it's almost impossible to get smooth footage with it. I am using the iPhone 12 Pro Max which probably didn't help (it's heavy). I carefully centred and balanced the phone on the mount. from 15 minutes of footage, 1 minute was usable, and without speeding up the footage, it mostly looked terrible. I got lucky a couple of times on the low-down shots. Looked much less shaky when camera on wide angle. The active track is quite clever but it's way too clunky to interact with your phone while it's mounted, and I constantly missed the shot and the software got in the way Hyperlapse looks good but if you have a GoPro it would presumably be better on that. If you are interested in the stationary but tracking you feature, it's worth buying it for that. I appreciate that it requires a LOT of skill to use a Gimbal properly and then you would get more consistent results. The stabilisation on the iPhone makes the footage unusable for mobile shots with the 1x lens but frankly if you just bought a GoPro and held it with your hand it would look way better than this for the moving shots. Verdict, do not buy this gimbal. Either buy a better one aimed at SLRs (presumably you can still use your phone on them) or just get a new GoPro which will look better than any phone camera when outdoors and moving

DJI OsmoMobile 3（売却）、DJI OM4SE（これは現役で使ってます）ときて、必要に迫られてOM5を追加購入しました。iPhone 12/13での使用です。 4SEと比べて、ですが、モーターのパワーも上がってますね。動作を見ているとだいぶ余裕がある感じで、安定度が増しました。そして写真の通りなによりコンパクトになり、より軽くなったことが一番嬉しい。右がOM4SE、左がOM5です。重さはなんと100gも軽くなってます。 その代わりOM4SEがバッテリーで15時間動作するのに対して6.5時間と約半分になってますが、逆に言えば実使用では6.5時間もあれば十分で、充電時間が2.5hから1.5hに短くなったことも嬉しいくらいなので。ま、これは人によるかとも思いますが、軽さ、コンパクトさは万人が嬉しいはず。 DJI mimoで早速使ってみましたが、細かいところでいろいろブラッシュアップされていて、さらに使いやすく変わってますし、アクティブトラックの追従性というか安定性も全然良くなってます。（13から使えるシネマモードもあればいいんですけど、それはなし） ところで、「安定しない理由がわかりました、稼働範囲の限界に来るからカクカク動くようです。持ち方も従来と違うようで・・・・何たってジンバルを垂直に持って居たのを、横に持てって言うんだから」なんていうとても気になるレビューがありますが、そんなことはないです。だいたい横に持たなきゃ使えないなら付属のトライポッドに乗せて使えないってことになるし、三脚つけて使えないってことになります。持ち方はこれまでと同じく立てて持つというか、普通に持てばいい、が正解です。チリチリと安定しないのはモーターに負荷がかかりすぎているからで、取り付け時のバランスが著しく悪いか、初期不良かのどちらかかと思います。 もう一度書きます。ハンドル部を横にして持たなきゃいけないなんてことはありません。 スマホジンバルは他にもより安価なのが出ています。YouTubeとかでもいろいろレビューされてたりしますが、サポート体制はDJIとそれ以外では雲泥の差です。例えば業務で使うなら大きな差がでます。ジンバルというものを使ってみたいだけ、とか、「金はありあまってる！途中で調子悪くなっても買い替えるから別にいい」な方はどーでもいいですが、そうでない方は保証プランも充実し国内サポートも充実しているDJIは他メーカーと比べてトータルで頭２つくらい抜きん出ていることは忘れてはいけないかと思います。 （過去に、あえてどことは書かないが２ヶ月で動作不良を起こし、サポートしてもらえず、保証修理も超面倒で、結局廃棄した経験があります）

Ik gebruik deze gimbal heel vaak en hij stelt me nooit teleur. Mooie stabiele beelden en de batterij gaat erg lang mee. De uitschuiffunctie is fantastisch!
