Best manual transmission fluid I have used for my 8th gen civic
This is my first ever review on a product, and I have bought many products from Amazon. I have tried almost every manual transmission fluid on the market for my civic. From the OE Honda fluid, Valvoline synchromesh, RedLine MTL, Amsoil synchromesh, GM synchromesh FM, Torco, Motul 75w80, etc. I wasted too much money trying all these fluids. Though others had luck with the fluids mentioned, Ravenol, though more expensive than everything out there, it is THE BEST fluid I have ever used. Extremely smooth in cold weather. Extremely smooth with hard driving, with no grinds. The fluid feels pretty much the same in all temps. Full PAO fluid, does not smell like the other fluids, and it brings my 200,000 mile car back to life when shifting. This fluid is pretty thin, based on the pds, but I say it is worth a try.

Gets rid of your cold-weather shifting woes...
Using this in the gearbox of a B5 Audi A4 Quattro with the 01A 5-speed manual transmission (which shares its fluid with the front and center differentials). I have had Motul Gear 300 75W-90 GL4/5 in there for about 30K miles and it has never been happy in the cold here in Minnesota. When the temperatures drop into the single-digits (F) and below, the transmission has been very stiff to shift and would crunch its way into 2nd gear. I dumped the Motul and replaced it with this Ravenol, and the difference is amazing. It was -7F this morning when I started the car, and the transmission had virtually no stiffness and the crunch into 2nd gear is gone. I don't know yet what this lube will be like in the heat of the summer, but for cold-weather applications, this product is easily the best I have ever used.

Not bad at all!
I bought this fluid for my 2017 Ford Fiesta ST. The car came notoriously under filled from factory at 1.67L with DCTF. The Ravenol MTF2 meets the factory requirements and I’m much more comfortable knowing MTF is in my manual transmission than the liquidy DCTF stuff in there. I swapped in this fluid at 7K miles and it’s been about 1K so far. I noticed that the transmission is a bit quieter and shifts are a little smoother. I am happy with it for the price I paid. Also the bottle has a very cool snout but really didn’t work well with my application since the fill plug is in such a weird spot. Overall this is good stuff that I would use again but it wouldn’t keep me from trying another gear old such as BG Synchro shift

Excellent stuff at a reasonable cost
My car came with thin, runny DCT fluid and didn't shift smooth at all, this stuff meets the exact spec for my car and works great, all at a very reasonable price for full synthetic. Shifts are clearly smoother than the factory fluid in my Ford 6 speed!

The top of the bottle is not all that great since it comes with a filler tube and not ...
Seems to work well. Used on E46 M3 and transmission is a lot smoother and less clunky than before, although I suspect this would have been the result with any oil given I'm fairly certain it was still on factory fill after 14 years. The top of the bottle is not all that great since it comes with a filler tube and not regular screw top. Would be five stars if it had a regular screw cap so I could screw a pump on it.

Works to Spec
I bought a used 2020 Honda Civic type r with 45,000 miles on it. A common complaint in blogs was a notchiness between 2nd & 3rd 3rd and fourth. Sure enough, my car was a rough shifter. Well, a few owners in the blogs recommended this stuff. I had never heard of it, but the only negative they mentioned was it was pricey so figured I'd give it a shot. I'm glad I did. Shifts were a bit smoother at first, but after a tank of gas, 300 miles, the gearbox started to shine. Now it shifts as smooth as butter. Shifts in 5th & 6th even improved. Also my miles per gallon went from 28 to 31, which was unexpected. So....I approve this stuff and will be using it for the life of the car.

Good Synthetic Fluid
Need this fluid for my Nissan Versa 1.8L manual transmission. Good fluid. No complaints. Smooth shifting and piece of mind that I'm using the correct fluid for my vehicle. These bottles are pretty cool. The end has a retractable nozzle to help with pouring. Was useless for me because of where the fill plug is on my transmission. Wish it was cheaper.
