The bottle was half full and stuck with cello tape. We tried to stick some foam beading to metal multiple times and, unfortunately, it did not work.

Works great!
Adhere to metal, wood, plastic in general, PLA, and others. Good adhesion and strength. I used to adhw=ere laptop hinges to the case after the plastic broke. It worked great.
