My dogs love it
I very recently purchased this ball for my dogs. They are very active and are chewers, and they almost always ruin a new toy immediately. So far, they have removed some of the "teeth" on this toy - which is why I'm only giving 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, I am glad I purchased this and they enjoy it. I place mini training reward pieces between the teeth (as a snack dispenser). And I break off one end of a milk bone and press it into the center of the ball. This keeps my smaller dog (Rat Terrier) busy for long periods of time. My slightly larger dog (a 20# Treeing Feist) loves to play fetch with it. It is about the size of a tennis ball, so I am not sure I'd play with it with the largest breed of dogs, for fear of a choke hazard. But my dogs love it. When they've destroyed it, I will replace it. It is not made of material that is as sturdy as another, popular brand. But I'm good with that. I think it is serving a purpose on their teeth and gums.

My dog is happier than she has been in years
I have a Border Collie mix and she gets easily bored. What makes this worse is she gets really depressed when we aren't home. Off and on for 3 years we have been dealing with her licking her paws raw. We use to give her bones, until she broke a tooth on one. That's a different story.Anyways this ball is perfect for our dog. It's soft enough to not hurt her teeth. But firm enough to stand up to her nibbling and chewing on it for the food/treats we put in it.My dog does not play fetch, ever. But we pick this ball up and she will chase it a time or two just to see if we filled it. My dog is 10 and it's really nice to see her excited about a toy.On a side note it also seems to be cleaning her teeth and gums. Not sure if it's supposed to do that...After having the ball for 5 days I have nothing to complain about. My dog loves it.

Excellent value. Keeps my dog occupied
Keeps my dog occupied, she loves this. I’ll definitely buy another when this one is worn out.I will say, don’t let your dog chew on it after they are done getting the treats out. It is a durable but soft rubber. It can be torn apart. I have a lab mix (7 months) who is an aggressive chewer. Bigger dogs might tear it up faster.Still, totally worth the money. It’s one of her favorite activities.

Perfect for my dog!
I bought this toy and another treat dispensing toy made of hard plastic that you have to roll to get a treat to come out. The other toy was terrible and was impossible to get treats to dispense and it was of no interest to my dog who is generally very capable of figuring out challenges. This one is so perfect for my 22 pound terrier mix. He is active but doesn't chew through furniture, shoes, clothing etc. He picked this up right away and loves gnawing on the massagers to get treats out. It takes him what I believe is a perfect amount of time to get treats out so as to stay occupied and feel challenged without getting discouraged. It's soft on his gums and I'm sure helping to clean his teeth. Most of all, it entertains him, he's happy with it and he hasn't destroyed it. It's held up to the challenge. Not sure if a bigger dog would shred this thing but seems very durable based on use with my dog.

I originally bought this for my cats...it's not for cats - at least my two.
I bought this to entice my cats to exercise more. It's much bigger than I expected. They wouldn't play with it. However, my puppy has truly enjoyed it and it's holding up surprisingly well. I don't put any treats in it. Only rating it 4 instead of 5 because it was advertised for cats and I wouldn't recommend it for a cat.

Not great for hard chewers
We have two dogs. One loves to mouth things so I bought this ball specifically for him. He loves chewing it softly and it stimulates his gums. It is a soft rubber though, so I have to keep it away from our other dog who chews to destroy. She had it for five minutes and chewed a few chunks off. Also, warning. The rubber is kind of stretchy when chewed so my destroyer dog chewed it, she ended up with a sizable chunk completely stuck between her front teeth. She couldn't get it out so I had to pull it out. It wasn't dangerous or anything, but would not recommend leaving your dog unattended with this.

Entertaining Ball With or Without Treats!
Our 3.5 mos lab puppy really likes it - rolls it around and chases it even WITHOUT the treats then settles in and chews it for a while - I think she's massaging her gums. I put the mini training treats inside the ball's teeth every couple days or when I need something "new" to entertain her. Only downside is once the treats inside the ball get broken down into crumbs, they "leak" out onto the floor when it rolls... oh well, I can deal with that as she really enjoys it and I like that it's different and entertaining AND easy to wash. Quick ship, good price and Pepper likes it - Thank you!

Good toy. A good purchase for our 2 year old 50 lb pointer mix.
There were some shipping woes, but amazon made it right as usual. Ball didn't arrive, was supposed, got sent wrong item, have to send old product back, and then had to reorder, was supposed to be rush shipped, wasn't rush shipped, got it two days later, instead of same day. Oh the joys of online ordering at times..Ball has been great. I'm surprised by how long it has lasted compared to anything else we buy her. Our dog has chewed a small piece out of it (she's the destroyer of all things) but overall she isn't seeing fit to tear it to shreds and is happy chasing it around. I hope it's actually non toxic as indicated. She is smart though, took less than an hour and she figured out how to sit and get the treats out with her claws and teeth. It is still worth it because she enjoys it.
