Would buy again!
My 3 year old loves this! It is very easy to put together and take apart. The trains roll perfectly. We love that it has a bridge. We bought a second set of trains that were melissa and doug, they fit perfectly!

Fantastic Quality
I have a very old train table with some very old trains at my preschool and I wanted to renew the whole set. The Orbrium 18-piece train set is top quality. It comes with engines, carriages, and even little animals. This set is awesome! Each piece is well-engineered and beautifully painted. The kids love them. They are robust and all wooden. They're Perfect!

Perfect without Gravity.
So I want to start off saying I love this train set, the quality, the trains, the accessories, and of course, the price. After this review, I'm going to pruchase some additional items from Orbrium from that adoration. The pieces are qualtiy made, the trains are heavy, everything is wood (except train wheel parts), the paint is durable, etc etc. It's a really nice simple set for the price, it's amazing. However it is not without fault; the images I've included correlate to that. Though, remember, all of this adds up to only a one star loss, but I feel it should be recorded. The least import picture is the mirror picture. All of the curved track pieces are indented train tracks on both sides, so you're not stuck with only a certain # of right vs left curves. However, this is only true for the cruves, for any non curved piece, it is only one sided (Though you can turn it to get the opposite orientation). The downfall of this, is that if that side becomes damged, unlike the curve pieces, it is essentially ruined. It just seems like a cost saving measure that hurts the consumer. Another small feature that could be improved is the road crossing piece (included in a picture). It's male connector piece is, for some reason, unlike any other one. Though it still functions, it's odd. Lastly, the biggest concern of mine, and arguably could of taken 2, or more, stars total, is the track pieces provided. The track is assymetrical in the pieces provided. In a picture provided, (the one with 5 different tracks) it shows single piece, AND SINGLE SIZE, pieces (A comparison of the straight piece and road crossing piece is provided to show that they even aren't the same size). This is problematic if you plan to make any other track not from the box. Because of the next factor, (the last two photos) given the momentum of the train, the train cannot safely come down from the bridge without derailing, unless it is done in the manner in the pictures provided. Either with the longest straight piece provided, or with the longer curve piece. The problem however, is that because of it being assymetrical and including junction pieces, a custom track cannot be completed that won't derail, without buying extra pieces, or not including the bridge. Even the box example derails the train. So why do I still give it 4 stars? Because given the quality, the care, and the love that they, and my son gives to it, is worth 4 stars. I wanted to give it 2 for shorting us pieces, but they included a bridge that was unique, but broke the track, so I've decided not to punish them for making a unique, albeit slightly "broken" track. And at the price point, I don't believe it can be beat. If you get the additional track pieces, this set is beyond phenomenal. Without it, it's still a fun play set if you don't mind the occasional derailing.

5 Stars, but...a few things to know ahead of time
5 Stars, but...a couple things to know ahead of time. I should first say, we got this as a Christmas present for our 15-month-old, we thought he might be a little young but didn't want to wait for his 2nd Birthday...he LOVES IT! He is borderline obsessed, we only allow him to play with it under our constant supervision and after 30 minutes we are ready to put it away but he doesn't want to. And at least once a day he goes to his closet and says "tain, tain". Now onto a couple things to know ahead of time: #1 Trains may get derailed - We bought the Thomas battery powered engine and it worked great except it would derail quiet often (mainly at the turn after coming down from the bridge), we set it up quite a few different times and then one time we got lucky and it worked perfectly, the other times there was a lot of tweaking the track and even putting wedges under spots to prevent derailments. You'll see when you put it together not all the pieces were created equal, some connect a little looser than others and some of the rails are a little rounded off (very little, but seems flipping them or switching them with others helped prevent derailments). We can usually get it so Thomas makes it around the track without derailments, either if we put a little effort into it or get lucky with the perfect setup. #2 We don't ever go under the bridge - If you end up using a motored engine, the train will only freely follow one of two paths: Clockwise will go under the bridge, Counter-clockwise will go over the bridge. Going under the bridge is a tight fit with Thomas and doesn't work at all if the rail is on a soft surface (carpet). Our son seems to like going up over the bridge and down the other side, so now we just build a larger oval with the bridge, and leave the extra track in the box. (We might invest in switches to replace the Y-splits, so you can switch were Thomas goes, still looking for a good switch) Still five stars because I felt like this was a great set for the price. Even the more expensive Fisher Price figure 8 set had reviews saying they have many derailments with it's bridge. You get a lot of cars and pieces for a low price, and you can use that savings to buy a battery powered engine!

This trains are played with daily by my two year old. He loves them a lot and builds it himself. We will be getting more tracks soon. The trains are so cute too

Absolutely love this set
Already searching for more to add to our collection. The fact that the box serves as storage and a part of the play is the best. All of the pieces are a nice wood material. 5/5 stars, love it!

Lovely set. It's compatible with an another set that we already have. My 3 year old who is crazy about trains adores it. The only complaint that I have is that the trains could have been more sturdier

Perfect, my baby is 17 months old, so the little pieces are still not safe for him to play with, but so far he enjoys playing with the trains. The product is of high quality, definitely great to play together if your kiddo is still a baby.
