TAGVO Camping Hammer, Multifunction Outdoor Camping Mallet Aluminum Tent Hammer with Tent Stake Remover

This is a really useful item and was much sturdier than I anticipated it to be. This drives home pegs very well and I found the strap useful as it prevents the hammer from slipping forward when holding it, meaning that I didn't end up whacking my thumb. The hook on the bottom is useful for pulling out the pegs and makes the job a lot easier. There is a "hoe" side to it which is useful for digging a hole if you need to do a "number 2" so this has replaced the trowel I used to carry. The hammer itself weighs in at 369g (without the bag). Previously I used to use a rock or take off my boots, but this is - of course - much more efficient & accurate and saves my thumb from a clobbering. Very pleased with it.

Bought this specifically because the peg puller on it is rivetted in place rather than being a push on one like the cheaper things out there and it's handled pulling the massive rebar pegs on a bell tent with no issue whatsoever, still nice and solid. Hammer is fine for hammering in normal tent pegs on hard, dry ground.

Does the job OK but it's a bit of a lightweight. I'll use a proper hammer or a mallet

Used this over the weekend while camping. The pegs worked great, held the tent really well. Much better feel once in than the standard pegs you get with tents. The hammer worked a treat and as expected and the peg remover worked as it should too. Very pleased and would recommend. Hopefully many years of use to come

I have used this on two trips now.Once the ground was like iron and even using hard ground pegs it was a struggle but I suspect a 10 ton hammer would have struggled.On normal ground it was a piece of cake.

It will do the job but just so you know it weighs 370g without the bag and Not 150g as advertised, it seems up for the task but only time will tell, I'm only giving it only 3 stars because of the discrepancy in the weight as on multi day camping in the Scottish Highlands every gram counts when your lugging it on your back over rough terrain

Strap clip to the hammer that held the safety strap in position not very good broke after using the hammer for the first time.
