If you're anything like me, somewhere in your house or apartment there's every copy of ScrollSaw magazine you've purchased. (OK, that only applies to those of you who are into scrollsawing, but you probably wouldn't be reading this review otherwise.) This book puts all the best puzzles from the magazine into one place, which sure beats pawing through that pile of old magazines to find the puzzle pattern you're sure you remembered seeing but don't remember which issue from which year. I had already made several of the puzzles in this book but was glad to have them all in the same place. There's something for everyone in this book, whatever their skill level or complexity of their shop. Many can be made with a cheaper scrollsaw and access to a photocopier.The only thing I would change in this book would be the binding. A spiral binding would make photocopying much easier.

The many well described and pictured projects can be done by those with skills ranging from beginner to expert.. Only a few are for the expert and those were mostly to challenge and not to instruct exactly how that was done. I was able to make most projects and have been using them to inspire a variety of new puzzles. I found the instruction clear and easy to follow.

Great puzzle patterns! Also love the instructions provided on how to make your own patterns based on any shape. Helped make me much more comfortable in experimenting for various gifts.

I love the puzzles in this book. The cover project is easy to cut and very striking while the other puzzles in the book offer great variety and will appeal to a wide range of tastes. All of these projects would make wonderful and unique gifts. Definitely new ideas for the person who has everything. If you love scroll saw puzzles, you won't be disappointed in this book.

This is great for a new scroller. I've made maybe 8 of the patterns and gained confidence to make my own.

It is a great book that will help me in making gifts for the grand kids. I scan the patterns into my computer and print as needed. The book is of high quality printing, as well as hints and instructions.

Bought as one if my husband's presents. He found this book very interesting and has just made a start on making the snake. Having become great grandparents last year he is looking forward to making some of the puzzles for our great granddaughter.
