I am very particular about personal lubricants as I not only tend to get UTIs but I also have interstitial cystitis. I saw that another reviewer was afraid to use this because of her IC (and I am SO sorry you also have this problem) which apparently worsens with citric acid (the final ingredient in this product). I’ve struggled with IC since the 1990s and this has made me extremely careful of the ingredients in the personal lubricants I use. For me, this lubricant has never caused/worsened my flare-ups of IC, nor has it ever caused a UTI. I use it with toys, but also for lubrication when I’m troubled by dryness. I’ve been very impressed at how well it lubricates with only a few drops. It’s unusual to find that level of “slickness” in a product that contains no silicone.The company will also send you a sample of their product if you contact them directly. I would suggest this to anyone who, like me, is very leery of trying a new personal lubricant. I understand that not everyone has the same body chemistry but, for me, this product has been absolutely the best lubricant I’ve found.

There is a huge size difference between my wife and I. For starters, I am 6'9" tall, and she is less than 5'6". So, for obvious reasons, we have to use lube for pretty much every time we have sex. It just makes things easier, and more enjoyable for her. Since we have to use it basically every time, we use a lot of lube. This will be one we buy again.It just works, first off. Different positions, no problem. Masturbation, for either of us, worked perfectly. Best part, it didn't get that dry, sticky, feeling you can get with some lubes after a while. Kept doing its job, even when it had been a while since we applied it. Even worked well for anal, although that required multiple applications (although that was to be expected, so no complaints there).I was a little worried that there would be a strong coconut aroma, since it's coconut-based, but there was nothing like that. Not that I don't like the smell of coconut, but my wife doesn't. So, it was a bit of a relief when it had no noticeable scent.If you're looking for a quality lubricant for your intimate moments, this is one to get.

At last, a lubricant without a lot of nasty chemicals and is paraben-free, fragrance-free, glycol-free and glycerin-free with only 6 ingredients and one of them is water. I looked up the ingredients online and they seem safe. I have used K-Y and Astroglide before and did not like all the chemicals in them or they burned. Genneneve did not burn at all! It did get a sticky with long use, but we put more on and it was fine. My husband got too much on his hand, and he wiped it on my body. I was sticky, tacky at first but then when it dried, it made my skin silky soft (the moisturizing part). All in all, the product felt more natural and I felt good afterwards using it without a lot of clean-up.The container has a nice, smooth feel to it and it looks more like a facial moisturizer or cleanser than a lubricant, so it is not as embarrassing to leave out. It is a little bigger than the palm of my hand.

Pours out of tube like jello that Sat too long… not much consistency there. Use right away and you need to wipe whatever you used to convey to your body immediately afterwards. Doesn’t cause knots or clumps, lasts long, very lubricating from moment of application. Squeezes a lot with little pressure. No obnoxious scent. First time using, recommended by friend/ will last awhile!

I had used other lubes in the past but to no avail. This one is great and keeps me lubricated. I am a cancer/chemo survivor and I thought that my sex life was over, but thanks to this and Neuve Suppositories, we're doing great.

I am writing this review, because I want to save other people who are very sensitive... to NOT try this product. I believe that this product will work for the normal VJJ, however, someone with a VJJ that is very, very sensitive the Genneve product line will not work. I first tried the Menopausal product and that burned really bad. Next I tried this water-based product thinking that it wouldn't burn, but it did too. Not as bad at first, but by the third day it was awful. Just wanted to pass on the info for anyone reading the reviews that is very, very sensitive.UPDATE: I finally found a product that DOES WORK and it is called PreSeed. It is used by women who are trying to get pregnant and the ingredients mimic the natural VJJ fluids. No burning!

I've used this product for a few years. When I purchased this last spring, the formula and packaging was different. It is so much more runny than before. Rather than a squeeze bottle with a flip top, it's now a tube and it just runs all over the place. It's a lot more messy especially when trying to be spontaneous. It does work as far as helping with the dryness and pain due to getting old, but we've wasted a lot because it comes out so fast and goes all over the place! I'm trying something else this time around.

This is the only personal lubricant my husband and I can agree is the best out there. Will buy again and again.
