Bought for a Scottish buddy he was happy with it

AWFUL!! Bought 3 packs of 8 and all bars are stale, turning white, and old tasting. My family and I have been buying these tunnocks for decades and I’ve never had a bad one until now. It was a complete waste of money. I’m incredibly disappointed. Every family member, eight by the way, tried them and all mentioned how off putting they looked and tasted. DO. NOT. BUY. After looking it over more closely, it’s clear that all of the bars have grown white mold. I want my money back!!

Fell in love with these during my travels and was glad to see them offered on Amazon. No issues with QC or expiration dates like some others. But they just don’t quite taste the same. Not bad per se, just not quite as good; more like a fuzzy memory. Still, I’m glad to have them around when I want a little sweet treat with a cuppa. Definitely more a fan of the milk chocolate than the dark chocolate version.

Anyone from the UK, i.e., Scotland, knows Tunnocks. They’re just a yummy candy that’s been around forever. It’s a wafer caramel with chocolate covering. This and their tea cakes are my indulgence every time I get to the UK. I bring home a bunch but had to get more from Amazon because I ran out.

I was super stoked to see that I could get this online after becoming obsessed with Tunnocks in Scotland...however, I don't think they travel well. The thin chocolates texture was oddly powdery and just didn't taste right like it may have melted into itself it the shipping process. Very disappointed and I had to get a refund.

If you're trying these for the first time and don't like them or think they're foul, be sure to check the expiration date! I grew up with Tunnock's products and they're all so delicious, however, this last order of caramel wafers was INEDIBLE. They expire next month and I think they must have been stored somewhere that didn't do them any favors. These should be crisp, chewy and delicious! if they're not, they're spoiled or old.
