This thing latches on to any surface i have used it on: vinyl, wood, plastic, and glass. It grabs a hold so quick, and strong that once it touches it is impossible to adjust or pull off unless you break it and are still left with adhesive sections you have to scrape off. I have three still attached to different surfaces for many months and it is there to stay. I cannot vouch for its weight bearing ability as i have only hung very light materials.

I have 2 on my car dashboard. One for my phone, the other for a radar detector mount. So much better for me in use than suction cup window mounts! No tell-tale suction cup marks on windows anymore either!I also use it as a GPS mount for my 18 wheeler tractor, too. Works perfectly. Rock solid adhesion. No complaints. Would absolutely buy again.

I did not install this on my dashboard because of the small circular attachment on the edge, which is apparently to provide leverage should one want to remove this disc in the future. I didn't want or need this, so I used another type and returned these.

Dislike that it’s very hard to take off if I’m going to have to remove it. But the plastic is hard enough that it won’t break when I do.

Have been using for about 5 months. Great price and works great. Would buy again.

32 days after I purchased, the first one failed and I followed the directions and had installed these before. The 95mm like these are really too big. Modern cars all have at least a very minor curvature and the larger the disc, the harder to adhere to the curved surface. I can't recommend these and I'm very disappointed.UPDATE: I tried the second one and now both have failed. Don’t last in any hot weather whatsoever. Very deficient.

I was able to mount my my phone to a inconspicuous mounting point, this plate sits upside down in a cubby hole in my dash, then I attach a flexible arm to that holds my phone out of the way, it’s been in place for over a month with no signs of coming loose.

I purchased something similar from another company that did not work. This particular product on it as you can see tells me when to apply it to the dashboard with the correct temperature!
