This dress is very flattering with the ruching around the midsection. It was the perfect length on me - I am 5'7". The material is stretchy and very comfy. It is also very wrinkle proof. I was not impressed with how the dress was packaged - it wasn't even folded. I would say it was more balled up into the bag. Still, the dress didn't care - it came out wrinkle free! I did end up returning it because I needed to match a tie to it for my husband, and I could not. What is buff? It isn't beige, it isn't gold, it isn't pink.... Maybe it is a taupe. I couldn't figure it out. Maybe Alex Evenings should sell matching ties!

I tried many dresses for a black tie wedding in Oaxaca, Mexico. This dress was gorgeous, the material allowed it to be folded in my suitcase with no issues. Layers meant no see-through or even cellulite that could show through! I'm 5' 136 lb. Of course I had it shortened and it wasn't difficult for the seamstress to do. Sparkles didn't fall off! A million compliments and I felt gorgeous and comfy all night! Sorry my pic includes my date and obscures it a little.

I absolutely loved this dress! It was so comfortable and flattering. I felt elegant and beautiful in this dress. The petite was the perfect length for me and the dress needed no alternations. I’m 5’4” and wore a low heel. The material of the dress is stretchy and soft, but form fitting and flattering at the same time. The dress is made very well. The sparkle in the dress is subtle and not over the top and showed up so nice in pictures. It was so comfortable I didn’t want to take it off!

This is a highly forgiveable fancy dress. It stretches over every lump and has a flattering slit that gives it a sexy look while still letting you wear your own regular bra and underwear- nothing strapless or stomach smushing. The sequins do fall off and there are some loose threads, but overall it’s a sturdy fabric and that’s good since it’s long enough that even at 5’9” in heels I was dragging the dress. If you’re at an outdoor event, prepare to discover a lot of woodsy debris is attached to the dress by the end of the night. It is a great fabric for wadding up in your carry on and then sliding into right before your party and looking like a solid $900,000 - you don’t want to upstage anyone. I’m very pleased to have this dress in my closet!

Pretty dress, fit fairly well. There was a huge section of sequins missing though so I had to return it.

Cannot say enough good things about this dress first of all let's start with the color I bought plum as a mother of the groom dress and it's absolutely gorgeous covered in sparkly bling material is lightweight stretchy fully lined and not itchy it does have a back zipper which is easy to maneuver by myself rushing tides the belly which is a plus I am 165 and 5 ft 6 I bought the size 12 and it fits like it was made for me the dresses do come in a petite size for the shorter gals but this is a total win I could not be more happier with my purchase my son's wedding is in October and his colors are fall browns and deep purple, I feel confident and beautiful in this dress thank you Amazon

This dress is beautiful. I'm 5'3" and ordered petite. The dress fit perfectly, including the length, and did not need any alterations. I wore it for my son's wedding. It's very well made, super stretchy and form fitting, but also comfortable. The design helped hide some "trouble spots". Would definitely recommend this dress.

Based on the reviews, I bought this dress in wedgewood blue when my first choice didn't work out. I was thrilled with the flattering fit and comfort of this dress. It hid my tummy (I also wore shapewear to minimize my slight tummy bulge). I loved wearing it for my son's special day. I received many compliments and felt beautiful in it as I danced the night away with ease. For me, it is a 10/10. I wore it for a summer wedding but think it could be suitable for anytime of year or formal occasion.

I tried 3 other styles here, and this one in particular, is better than expected. I’m 5’2” and have to hem but well worth it. I’m about 132lbs. 36 bust and 29 waist. Ordered Size 6. This dress hugs your body, has stretch to it, and the puckered waist line hides the little-bit of mature mother belly I have left. It’s super comfortable, has some weight to it showing quality. Good quality back zipper. The sequins are well attached. I walked around in it for awhile and had no problems. May have to be carful if planning to wear a bracelet or watch-may catch the sequins. Champagne colour perfect and also much better than others I have tried. Purchased to wear to my daughters upcoming wedding in July. Overall very pleased. Lots of compliments so far from immediate family!

I bought this dress for my sons wedding. I felt fantastic in it, got so many compliments and because it was stretchy I was comfortable all day. D
