I've never taken a slide but I did have a tree branch hit me in the head while wearing so other then a small scratch on the helmet I was happy I was wearing it. While the helmet is a decent weight I like it better then my icon because it has a built in sun visor and it doesn't fog up as much but still does fog. I like the amount of air you get in and the slides feel quality. The size is pretty good but obviously that depends on your head. It has the standard features you'd get on any helmet so nothing too special but definitely a good price if your starting out.

I was on my e-bike with this and hit a curb to fast and crashed slide a couple feet and hit pure road head first. Not even a headache or anything if I could give more stars I would. After the visor was ok and the only thing there was some white scuffs I’m obviously still going to replace the helmet tho. This is a phenomenal helmet and I can put my life on the line when I say it will protect your brain.

UPDATE - If you're worried if this helmet will hold up in an actual wreck... DON'T. You'll be fine or at least your head will be sufficiently protected On November 24, 2024 I was involved in a severe motorcycle accident. I had a glancing blow with a car that pulled out in front of me and hit the ground at approximately 50mph. My helmet has 5 hairline cracks, but my head is fine. (My foot was crushed by the footpeg, but my head didn't have a scratch.) It is May 8, 2025 and I will be taking my first ride today. Unfortunately, I will be wearing my half helmet for this ride as I will need to get back to work before I can purchase another helmet. But when I do purchase a new helmet, it will definitely be this one. One new side note to the original review... This helmet is a bit noisy because the face shield vibrates quite a bit. To be honest it is just as noisy as not having a helmet at all, just a different kind of noise. But when you consider the price this should not be a factor for a biker on a budget. The helmet arrived 4 days ahead of schedule and as described. I ordered a small and it fits perfect except for one thing. While the helmet is plenty tight around my skull, I still have to pull the strap all the way tight. It's as if they use the same size strap for all size helmets. (If it wasn't for that I would give this 5 stars.) With that said, this helmet is a great value. It's very lightweight for the price point as well... 3lb 1oz. I'll be buying one for my wife as well.

XL size was too small for my size 7 1/4 hat size. One I got it on and then off, I didn't dare try it again for fear of losing my ears. It looked fine and the price was right, but size was just too small. Returning. Had to call customer service to be sure I didn't get charged for return shipping.

This helmet is ture to the size chart. I measured my wife's head and went buy the chart and the helmet fits her perfectly. The shell seems as hard and inflexible as my the one I bought from my local Harley Davidson dealership for $150. The pading seems just as good as well. Can't say for noise level but my wife who has sensitive hearing is happy with it. This helmet does not have the same safety ratings as my 150 dollar one. The sticker on the back says DOT rated, MVSS No. 218 certified, and TCMT HY901 ratings. Visor is easy to remove not sure how hard it would be to get a new one. Overall a very good comfortable helmet my wife likes it even after a 45 minute ride.

This helmet is AMAZING! I got this for a Christmas present for my son. The inside is cushioned, tinted, and durable. For airflow and fogging up, you can lift the visor to get airflow or make it non-foggy. Overall, I am very impressed with this helmet!

The helmet arrived quickly and seems to be of good quality at a reasonable price. I originally ordered a small based on the sizing chart but it was too small. I returned it and re-order a medium and it fits perfectly. The helmet looks great, is light weight and comfortable. The seller was very good with the return of the original size small helmet and the re-order of the medium helmet. I recommend this as a good budget price helmet and a good vendor.

Good helmet but not in condition when it was delivered with half the box ripped off allowing the helmet to be pulled out of the box with one hand.
