Mended slight leak as it's a much thicker liquid

Our car had progressively worse power steering. It improved after topping up the power steering fluid. Purchased this, even though at £15.99 it is pricier than most competitors because the reviews seemed better. Sadly after using the full 1 litre over 48 hrs it has, if anything, made the leak much worse than it was previously. A full reservoir was taking two weeks to empty now it emptied three times in 48 hrs.Maybe I was unlucky and bought a dodgy batch? Anyway called Amazon and pointed out the money back claim. They honoured that.In truth I would have preferred it worked. Now it looks like an expensive garage visit instead.

It's pretty thick, so I unscrewed the top and removed foil and carefully poored/squeezed in in up to fill line. Maybe use a funnel to avoid spills & have a cloth handy. Used most of the bottle over a week or so, leak reduced as did noise, steering was very stiff to start with, but fine after a min or so. Touch wood, leak has stopped, not had to add any fluid for a week or so. Nothing else has worked, tried 3 others.

Used on a previous car and it mostly stopped the leak BUT it made the steering incredibly smooth, all the steering fluid in the car was this stuff and it's great quality. On current car it has completely stopped the leak and also made the steering much smoother the more of this stuff I've added. You can use just this stuff for the steering fluid and it is incredibly smooth once you do.

I had what I thought was quite a serious leak, so was a bit sceptical whether this fluid would seal it. I noticed some advice to avoid cheaper alternatives, and was aware that some people had success and some did not. So I add my experience, that it worked for me immediately and have now been going for several weeks without a leak. Long may it continue!

Has not helped with my power steering leak, this could be due to the product itself or my problem is larger than first thought.Worth a try before spending more money though.

Didn't work. Tried it on a cold and a hot engine but leak is just as bad.
