Liked this mesh,hope it does the job

I like animals. Mostly I like them grilled, on a plate, with chips. Mice and rats are not my friends. This mesh has been used in the eaves of my house and and gaps that I found in the stonework. It's worked so far. If they manage to find a way in, I can only assume it's because they have armed themselves with tiny rodent-sized bolt croppers and cutting torches. If that's the case, then my only hope is to take off and nuke the planet from orbit. It's the only way to be certain.

I bought this to vermin proof the base of my compost bin. I put bokashi in it which contains meat and dairy and other bits, so very attractive to vermin. Squirrels in particular here are pretty determined. It’s been 18 months and nothing’s managed to break into it.

Great quality wire with all you need to sort a coop and ensure rats cannot dig through it. Easy to lay and really well made .. fit for purpose.

The gloves supplied are not really fit for purpose.First piece I cut ripped them, and my hand.The mesh is excellent though, I cut it with pliers but you really need metal snips, tried scissor but the wire is to strong

Good product-does the job but just watch out for the sharp edges!

I specifically chose this mesh (which cost more than many of its competitors) for prevention of rodent ingress as it was described as stainless steel and, as I live in a coastal area, galvanised wire can corrode. On receipt of the mesh I was suspicious that it wasn't stainless steel so put a magnet on it - the magnet was attracted to it! As some low grade stainless steels are mildly magnetic I gave it the benefit of the doubt and installed it anyway but only two months later the mesh is now covered in a white powdery substance which I suspect is some sort of zinc coating. So definitely NOT stainless steel.

This is not 304 stainless steel, it is coated/galvanised steel. I should have read the other review before ordering but i was in a rush. Even though the box and listing says it is, it really isn't.
