My auxiliary battery needed replacing and no stores in the are carried the one needed. We found this battery and took a chance on getting it, especially since we compared it with the battery needing replacing. The battery is a perfect match and the error message is now gone.

This was the exact part for my 2009 Mercedes S-550 4-magic. My car came up with a warning about an auxiliary battery malfunction. The price on Amazon was almost 50% less than I was finding elsewhere. My battery was located behind the fuse panel box on the driver’s front. The parts guide on the item said it would not fit, however, but because the battery part numbers matched, I went ahead and ordered it. It was an exact match to the original. No problems replacing it.

AMAZON SAID IT FITS 2015 GL450 AND THE SELLER (GonWalt LLC) SAID THE SAME, BUT BOTH OF THEM WERE INCORRECT. THE ACTUAL BETTERY IS NOT LOCATED WITH THE MAIN BETTARY AND THE SIZE IS 3 TIMES BIGGER THAN THIS PRODUCT. I RETURNED IT, BUT IT WAS NOT FREE. YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THE SHIPPING TO BAKERSFIELD, CA. AMAZON ASKED ME TO DEAL WITH THE SELLER AND SELLER DIDN'T WANT TO ISSUE "PAID SHIPPING LABEL" AS OF TODAY, JANUARY 3, 2026

Mercedes left in storage and main battery and ax battery both dead. Main battery came back with recharge but not ax battery. This one fit in perfectly and since it came fully charged, solved fixed all the down systems. Yeah, I know, that is what it was suppose to do but it is nice when things work AS ADVERTISED!!
