Great game. Good quality. 2nd version we bought. Learned it from French friends. I like the mind play that comes with this game (just wiki werewolf game or mafia party game for the rules and history). Although villagers should be able to win, it shows that lack of aligned strategy between the villagers often lowers their chances significantly. Hmmm, like real-life politics :-)

This is the best classroom game! My students have so much fun playing! The cards are about 3in x 3in so they are easy for children to hold. It’s easy to learn how to play. My students usually learn to play within one round. I would say in a class period you would play 1-3 complete games depending how on well your class does and how much debating you allow. Great value for an amazing game!

This game is great for all ages. Our family has been playing it for years. Great for all sizes of groups. Our family makes modifications when necessary. Worth every penny spent on this game!

So much fun!! Played with family & friends New Years Eve. Both adults and teens. I found it easier to sit in a circle in the living room rather than around the table, as the moderator has to move around, flip cards, and such. I also set up several candles (the flameless battery kind) around the room and turned the lights off for the night time part of each round. Adds to the ambience and makes it easier for the little girl character to peek. Going to plan a game night with neighbors to play again soon. We didn’t use Cupid or the sheriff as most were just learning the game, but we’ll add them in next time. Love the artwork. The booklet helps the moderator know just what to say leading the game.

I didn’t notice that this game requires at least 8-9 players, but it can be played with up to 18 players. And let me just say…the more the merrier. I took it on an extended family vacay and had trouble getting everyone on board with playing it, but after we got the hang of it, it became more and more fun. Although it there’s a lot to understand about the game before you start playing with a large group, I suggest reading the rules and instructions Very well before you start getting other people involved. But everyone who played this with me absolutely loved it and plans on playing again in the future.
