I have a lot of thick straight hair (1c) that gets tangled super easily. I’ve had this brush for over a year now and it’s by far the best brush I’ve ever used. Even for the most stubborn tangles, this brush gets through them in no more than 3-4 swipes with minimal pain. The brush does feel flimsy, but it’s still working strong and none of its teeth have broken for me. It’s a great value for the price.

Tried a few other "detangling brushes" and they were not doing the job. The comb is great, use on her wet conditioner on hair in bath, brush works well, very little fussing now. Great product, highly recommend!

Detangles my 4c texture hair very well. Great construction with no plastic burs on either item and soft bristles on the brush. It's also a good size brush. The handle could be a bit grippier as even with the rubber parts it's still pretty smooth, but I haven't had any issues with it slipping from my hands when brushing my hair.
