After researching through countless options, I landed on this one because it has decent reviews, the right size, and a much better price than the OEM options. 1. It’s for UPS systems that need a 12V sealed lead acid battery that is 5.94 x 2.01 x 3.87 inches. 2. It is the same size as the 12V 6Ah RT1250B battery used by some APC and SKE models. 3. I’m currently using it in my APC BE600M1 600VA/330W UPS and it’s working great so far. It might have slightly less capacity than the original, but for the price difference, it’s a great trade-off. 4. It also physically fits in the SKE VL425 425VA/240W UPS, though I haven’t needed to replace that battery yet. Bottom line: if your UPS needs a 12V 6Ah replacement with dimensions 5.94 x 2.01 x 3.87 inches. This one was a perfect fit for mine. Highly recommend!

I have an APC Back-UPS 675 battery backup unit. It is 7 years old, and it started beeping. I figured it was time for a new battery. This model has a user replaceable battery, model RBC154. it's rated at 12V 6.5Ah. The battery size is not common. Most batteries for UPS are 2.56" deep, but this one is only 2.01" deep. The original battery costs almost as a new UPS unit. I found very few replacement batteries from other brands that have the same dimensions. To my understanding, NPP is actually a battery manufacturer. Some of the batteries I found from other brands had NPP in the model name, so I guess that they were made by NPP. The battery I received was made in Vietnam. It was left outside my door, and the weather here is freezing cold now. I opened the box and let the battery stay at room temperature for 24 hours before using it. Installation was straightforward. The connectors were identical to the original battery (F1 type). It was a simple swap. I let the UPS charge for 12 hours before plugging anything to it. I then plugged an M4 Mac Mini to one of the power outlets with battery backup. Next I connected a USB B to C cable from the UPS to the Mac Mini for data communication. The Mac Mini immediately recognized the UPS. I configured it to shut down after 3 minutes in case of a power outage. I did a little test by unplugging the UPS from the wall outlet. After 3 minutes the Mac Mini shut down safely. Since I just received this battery, I can't comment about the longevity. However, so far it's been a perfect replacement for the original at a fraction of the cost.

Ordered two of these and they came just thrown in a box with no sort of packaging so the sides are all scratched up. The terminals weren't even protected. Not only is this just crappy practice it's very against USPS shipping regulations. They tested out fine and are going inside a UPS so I'll get over the scratches this time but I certainly won't be ordering from this seller again.

Battery size is good. The size is accurate for this unit. Packaging was OK... This model has 1/4 " terminals. Too soon to comment on performance. Rating is higher at 6.0 AH.

The battery I promptly received had an apparent manufacture date of May 2025, so it wasn’t sitting idle on a shelf for too long. It was installed in an APC BGE70-CA UPS, which calls for an APC RBC153 12V 4.2AH battery. This NPP battery has the same physical dimensions as the APC OEM battery but with a larger capacity. Coupled with its more economical price, it’s a great value.

Perfect fit inside my BGE70 APC Back-UPS network back up. Works great as expected, fit perfectly, delivered quickly. Wish it was packaged better though. It was all by itself inside a USPS Flat rate box with no protection. It arrived seemingly okay, however I did wonder about it. I bought again, this time a four pack as another of my BGE70 APC Back-UPS started blinking red and blue LED under the power button. This time they came the same way, in a USPS flat rate box with hardly any padding (inadequately packaged in my opinion). All four in the same box with just a sliver of cardboard in between them. The outside package did not indicate fragile or handle with care, nor did it say which side was up (not that the carriers ever pay attention to this anyways, but at least it shows someone tried). The battery fit inside as expected and the blinking LED stopped blinking. Now I have three batteries waiting for when my other Back-UPS fail. These batteries fit perfectly inside the BGE70 APC Back-UPS and from my research, they should also fit inside the Cyberpower SL700U (even though it says the battery isn't user replaceable). Will be maybe a year before I will know for sure on those because I have had them for just under a year now. Buy these if you need, they fit as sized and work well inside the Back-UPS.
