Looks great and pours brilliantly
Bought for use on a small gas hob in my campervan. This is the best hob kettle I've owned.. is a good size for 1-4 mugs of liquid, heats quickly and no drips when pouring from the small spout. Handle remains sturdy and upright for pouring and also holds the lid in place. Really well designed, solid and beautifully polished quality Stainless Steel. Far better than the collapsible silicone kettles I've used (and melted!) in the past.

This kettle with a Trangia 25
First off, I'm always a bit sceptical of a swathe of reviews for an item which are majority freebies to Vine Voice reviewers. However, I was looking for a stainless steel kettle to replace my Trangia 25 alu kettle and since it was on offer, I gave it a go. A lot of people are looking to swap out the alu kettle with a stainless one in a Trangia cook set. This is a very well made kettle in bright stainless steel. It seems robust and should last a long time. both the kettle handle and the lid handle have no insulation. Unlike other small kettles the lid handle does not look upright and after the early stiffness of the lid handle wears off with use it could well end up getting very hot lying against the lid. the lid is also a very loose fit. It comes in a net drawstring bag which is of about average quality and I doubt will stand the test of time. My only fault with this kettle is that the lid opening is quite small in comparison to others. Will it work as part of a Trangia 25 set? Yes...it sits on the three pot supports in the lower position. It does not need the addition of a Trangia pot stand. Will it take the pot handle and trangia spirit burner inside? - yes it will, as well as a scourer, but it's a tight fit. Will it take a Trangia (or third party) gas burner. - No it will not. The metal locking plate that sits below the gas burner is exactly the diameter of the kettle opening. This rules it out as a Trangia 25 alternative kettle for me. So, while I admire the workmanship of the kettle, and I'm sure it would be fine for many camping trips I will be returning it. Also, while I got this at a deal price, at full price it is expensive for what it is.

Decent quality.
Not as heavy as others make out and would be good for camping. Nice build quality. I've been using it at home as the electric kettle quit working so the purchase was great timing.

Fantastic Kettle for Campfire and Stove Cooking!
Durable, efficient, and looks great by the fire — I can’t recommend it enough! It has quickly become one of my favorite pieces of camp gear. It’s solidly built, heats up fast, and pours beautifully without any spills. The stainless steel construction feels tough enough for real outdoor use, yet it’s light enough to pack easily. The handle design stays cool and makes it simple to lift, even when it’s full of boiling water. Ideal for making coffee, tea, or even a quick meal on the go.

works with induction hob sturdy & safe, good pourer
This firemaple Antarcti 1.5 litre kettle was selected due to being stainless steel and has an ability to work with an induction hob. The firemaple Antarcti kettle can also be used over fire, gas, electric hob as well as induction hob. The induction hob have is a vango sizzle single hob 800watts on number 5 setting. (the vango needs a pure sine wave inverter for outdoor camping). The firemaple Antarcti kettle 1.5 litre kettle arrives in a box inside a net bag, the kettles handle has plastic that holds the lid on when pouring and plastic where would rest on a stick, reading earlier reviews of melting these were taken off. The firemaple Antarcti kettles handle is folded in bag once out of bag, handle is easy to lift upright where it is held in place by the self locking lugs, the handle extends over lid and while empty tilted right over to see if would stay. The lid can be removed with kettle handle upright, with lids d ring. The lid hole is wide enough to wipe inside of kettle out when packing up or cleaning. there is a moisture absorber inside. The inside of kettle is stainless steel SUS304 does not have any sprayed coating inside. The firemaple kettle is one mould so does not have a seam to leak at base a major plus point. the kettle fits on the vango sizzle hob. The base of the firemaple kettle is not flat, does not seem to reduce boiling on induction hob. Boiling on setting 3. 500watts took 15minutes with 1litre water on setting 5. 800watts took 9minutes with 1 litre water on a house hold induction hob 1000watts with 1.25 litres took 7 minutes. There is no whistle so the noise was the indication to water boiled, there has been no change to the stainless steel appearance on induction hob. Pouring was very good, there was good flow from the small spout the lid stayed in place, the self locking handle was still cold after each boil on induction hob which surprised me. In conclusion The firemaple Antarcti 1.5 litre kettle looks very bling with its stainless steel, it works as needed on induction hob without changing appearance and seems safe with self locking handle lid holding. The kettle is light enough without water that with water is manageable. there is no leakage seam at base or any inside sprayed on surface as found with other kettles, the bonus was the handle being cool once water boiled, did not expect that on induction. the firemaple kettle seems perfect for my induction hob needs will hopefully last many years.
