It took 2 valances to cover a 6 ft window including window moldings. Be careful when measuring. Valance come on small size.I love them. They are the finishing touch to my kitchen.

I bought these valences for my guest room. I didn't want anything that would block the light, just dress the windows and these are perfect, perfect, perfect. Very nice looking. Another reviewer mentioned the hanging strings and that is true but the curtain is really nice looking. Not sure why the manufacturer would neglect such a simple step but that is a small matter. !

So I have a kitten that is curious about practically everything.. so I needed something short on my windows that he can't reach. Long swags don't work well with sharp kitty claws! lol These topper valances are perfect! Pretty. Nice material. These are not see through. Machine wash n dry but still had to iron them. They had some stubborn packaging wrinkles but iron took care of them. Even my Mother liked them and wanted her own set but a different color. :)

This was just perfect for adding a touch of warm tones to an otherwise very neutral living space. But… be careful , I ordered 8 of them and they came in various shades. I had to swap out several windows until I finally got all the same shades over the same window. Some were more tan, others were more golden.
