Good quality product
It has been a week now since I started using it. The general look of the product is quite handsome. I must admit that it has a posh looking. The opening and shutdown are quite fast. The mousepad on it responds fast and it is not loose like many other. Asus integrated Harman Kardon speakers on this device, and they sound satisfactory while listening to music and watching videos. It is optimum I must say. If it had some bass, it would be fantastic. The feel of the keyboard is awesome; however, it hasn't got a backlight. Backlight must be a default on laptops I believe. Over the sunlight you cannot see what is written on the keyboard. That's a con. The screen quality is the best I've ever seen. I was amazed when it first turned on. Watching videos is a pleasure with this laptop. GAMING: Well...first of all this is not a gaming laptop. I play certain games which does not push the machine to its limits. It does not get that hot while playing a game and the fan on it silent. Nvidia Geforce MX350 is a 4GB graphic card, so expect within limits. Battery life is like 2,5 hrs while watching videos or working on several office software and laptop fan is very silent. Overall, I must say that it is satisfactory for me. I hope this review helps.

Nice
Had to replace my 5 year old laptop as it had run out of puff. I've had this for a month now. And so far so good. Its lightweight and compact in comparison to my old laptop. Going from a TN screen to this one is a massive improvement. The boot up time is almost instant. Battery life is ok, I get about 4hrs browsing, YouTube etc. Key board and track pad work fine. Backlit keyboard is a bonus and works well. SSD and RAM are more than enough for my needs. All in all a nice bit of kit.

Best laptop I've ever owned
Bought this laptop back in January 2022, and it's still going strong (November 2025). It's used for day to day tasks - word - excel - web etc, and it can't be faulted.

Fast Laptop with Beautiful Display and Great Features
I got the black 16gb i5 version and with just over a month with it I'm incredibly in love with it! I really like how big the screen is and how good the viewing angles are, great for watching HD videos or editing photos. The computer loads up and shuts down in seconds. I chose the i5 version and I'm incredibly happy with the performance when loading heavy duty apps or playing simple games. It did take some time to get used to the keyboard layout as it has the numpad on the right and the buttons are compact and closer together but other than that it is smooth to type on. The battery however is not all day as they said, at best you will get 5 hours on power saving settings. For me that is more than enough as I usually use this laptop at home but if you're up and about a lot do bring the charger with you. Overall I think it's a great value budget laptop and would definitely recommend!

An Affordable, General Use Laptop
The laptop was as described, with one exception - the keyboard backlighting. Everything else was exactly as I hoped. The battery life is around 6 hours, depending on what you're doing. The screen is very clear and has a fantastic viewing angle. I went for the 16GB, Windows 10 model. Don't waste money on the Windows 11 variant. Take a couple of hours and install it yourself; if you want it, of course. The speakers aren't bad, touch pad is more than good enough, camera is okay, and the keyboard is a little mushy. Thermals are pretty good. I've not had any crazy temperatures yet. The bloatware is minimal too. McAffee was unfortunately present, a couple of other things too. Generally though, I was impressed with how little was installed. Would I recommend this laptop? Yup, definitely. There's nothing really holding it back. The battery life is good for those who are travelling. Just remember to bring a charger with you if you're going overnight or longer. The only one limitation is modern gaming. It'll play some titles fine, but if you want something with more punch, go with a gaming laptop.

Great laptop for the price, terrible battery llife
Overall this is a great value laptop. Everything feels responsive and I love the large SSD and 16GB of RAM (I previously made the mistake of buying a budget laptop with only 4GB of RAM, and Windows sucks up so much memory these days). It handles light gaming like Slay the Spire fine, but it's definitely not a gaming laptop and will struggle to run anything demanding. Only real negative is the awful battery life. I've upgraded to Windows 11 which seems to have made it even worse - can die in just 2-3 hours of heavy use with things like the keyboard backlight and bluetooth on. You can get 4-5 hours out of it at a push but it's still pretty terrible for 2021.

Great value laptop, works with Windows 11 well
This laptop now replaces a desktop and laptop system I used to have. The performance isn't the fastest but it is good and gets things done much quicker than my old Xeon workstation, especially for the price. The laptop itself feels high quality, its metal, and has a reasonable number of ports. Upgraded to Windows 11 when it arrived and haven't had any problems other than browser settings to do all over again, and no, they didn't transfer, they overwrote my old settings, but that's not the laptop. Used it with a third-party port expander for a day but that quickly stopped working with Windows 11 and fixes so was returned, bought an Asus port expander and that's great though a bit pricey.

Screen started to fail after a few days
Really liked the laptop seemed like an excellent bit of kit. Lightweight nice clear screen and good sound. However after just a few days the screen started to go black whilst using it repeatedly. Which means its unusable. Assumed I had just received a bad one and would have been happy for a replacement but this wasn't an issue. So have had to request a refund back on Dec 2nd and I'm still waiting even though it was picked up on 3rd. Hopefully should be any day. Cant now decide to re-purchase once I get the refund or look at something else which is a shame as I liked this laptop bar the issues.
