TYRMen's Durafast One Jammer Swimsuit

Hi Everyone,TYR garment fit well and the materials are ideal. I have been a fan for a number of years. In Ironman events it's a long day no matter how quick you are. They are usually with me from start to finish. Yes they do seem to last with all the punishment given to them. Yes I am a TYR fan, try them and you will agree.Arnold L.

I've owned my TYR jammer suit for about two months and it has met or exceeded my expectations. My weekly average is about two hours of lap swimming, divided into three sessions on separate days. I don't consider this time period sufficient to review durability or longevity.Comfort: the comfort level is excellent, as evidenced by the fact that I almost never think about the suit when I'm in the pool. The suit neither rides up or down during use, and it stays flat to the body and streamlined. The leg openings seemed tight at first, but once the suit is on and the swimming has begun there is no discomfort there.Fit: I normally wear trousers and shorts size 34. However, my experience with athletic swim gear is that the garment is small compared to the stated size. So, I bought this item in men's size 36 and it is a very good fit for me. So you might say that the fit was "to expectation", but the expectation was that the suit would be on the small side.

Either my behind is big or the pants seem to be low in the back. Other than that they are very durable. I use three times a week and no issues so far.

** Update July 2019: My son has now worn these for 10 months, 3x a week, as well as at several competitions since my initial review in Oct. I haven't noticed any fading in the color, and the material is holding up well. No tears or rips in the seam despite regular use and weekly laundry. But most amazingly, the color is as solid and uniformly dark navy as it was the day we got it. The chlorine has had no effect on the color or durability of the material. They need to make swim caps out of this stuff. Those silicone caps are no match for 10 yr old boys. **These are very well made and perfect for my son on the swim team. The material is thick and durable, and I haven't noticed any fading of the color over the past month despite constant exposure to chlorinated pool water (he swims 3x/week, 50 minutes a session).The TYR logo is embroidered onto the jammer so there's no peeling or cracking of a glued on logo. We ordered size 26 as his waist measured 26 inches, and the shorts were a good snug fit. There's definitely room to grow. I suspect that this will easily fit him until his waist is over 28 inches... giving him plenty of space to fill out.There was no mention of this on the listing, but the jammers come with drawstring ties for the waist.

These are great jammers, I've had these for about a year, and I swim laps pretty regularly, probably average twice a week. These things have held up really well. I've been swimming regularly for a few years and this was my first pair of this type swim suit. This TYR jammer fits me amazingly well. I've read reviews on all these type swim suits, that they can be tight just above the knee, yeah maybe, but you either get used to it, or it loosens up, or its not really that tight. The liner inside works well as far as keeping things up front positioned, and the stitching seems strong, like you don't have to worry about the seams splitting like in the butt area. The draw string works well, not that you really have to use it that much, but its some added security I guess. These are so much better then swimming laps in board shorts or even shorter standard type swim trunks, you definitely notice the difference as far as gliding thru the water, What else; the color has held up (I got black), it has not faded much considering all the chlorine in the pool water. As far as size goes, I was confused with reviews saying order a size larger then you are. I ordered my waist size and they fit fine. One thing, I'm not sure if this type swim suit comes with a small pocket to store a lock key, that might be nice, but I realize these are made for competition/speed so maybe they don't make them with that option. I will buy these again in the future.

We returned this because the material was a bit too lightweight and his privates were a bit more visible. We ended up going with another brand we found in the sporting goods store

Very hard wearing, fit is good but very long. I have longish legs, they go to my knees. Good training jammers
