Easiest replacement I've ever done. Thought I'd have to open up the case, but it wasn't necessary. The battery on my MSI GT70 can be popped out with no tools at all. There's a couple of slide latches that lock it in place. Just slide them to the open position and the battery comes right out.

Hope it has long battery life.

works as it should. update 6 weeks later, the battery does not charge. Completely useless!

It fit my msi gt 70 dominator and took initial charge and has worked well so far. About 10 discharge cycles in and all good

My older custom built laptop’s battery would no longer hold a charge. When I found this replacement I held out hope that it would solve the problem…and it DID! Fit like a glove and from the first full charge it showed capability to hold power for well over 5 hours. $40 was a small price to pay to preserve my customized system.

Used in an MSI GX70 laptop, exact fit, working as it is supposed to. 05/18/24 I just used it today on battery only; after 1 hour it was down to 17%, the original battery would last for 3 hours on this laptop.
