Greenfield-30033849 2116-B PVC Coated Anchor Chain, Black, 5/16" x 5'

I use it on my yeti so it does not walk away. Looks nice, quiet and looks good.

I attached it to a vinyl coated anchor using a 5/16" stainless shackle and it worked great. The setup is for emergencies so I haven't used it yet, but I keep it in an anchor locker, it's been ~6 months, and the vinyl hasn't failed yet. At some point I expect it will, but hopefully that will be a few years down the road given that it will rarely if ever be used.

The is very heavy duty and was easy to hook onto the existing hooks. It doesn't bend very well, but we don't need to it bend for our purposes.

Works well. One thing I thought odd however was that the entire chain was PVC coated, not individual links. The means that the links between chains are constrained by PVC coating, as shown in the photos. Long term the PVC on these links will break down, but I suppose that is not a problem.

I bought an expensive kryptonite bike lock for $143.......the chain is so heavy duty, even with a crinder, it would take you awhile to get thru the chain. The problem being that there was a lot of expoxed chain and it wiould scrath and nick up the precious ride. This coated chain, although not as heavy duty and could probably be cut weith a pair of bolt cutters, is just what the doctor ordered. well coated so no fear of nicking up the ride......I will still use the krytonite paddlock though

Perfect for adding to a chain and looping through my back bike tire. Does not scratch the rim. Heavy duty.
