Makes my phone glarefree and the display doesnt shine in light.

TLDR: Mothca makes perfect screen protectors. You should buy them.The screen protector lasted all throughout my phone's lifetime. I only took it off a year ago when I upgraded my phone. I bought another Mothca screen protector for it. Equally happy with that one too.By then, I had dropped my phone a few times. Amazingly, 2 of those times, the screen protector cracked (only slightly on the outside) instead of my phone - meaning the protector perfectly protected my screen from cracking.It has been a long time since I bought this. I'm returning to leave this review because I'm giving my old phone to my mother, and I applied my reserve Mothca screen protector on it.The application process is so smooth. The protector feels alive. It slowly caresses the phone with zero air bubbles.I trust Mothca with all of my future screen protector purchases.

I’ve had screen protectors in the past of course, but chose a matte one this time since it is summer and I hate fighting glare. The Mothca matte protector came in a very nicely designed and protective package – kinda hated to throw it away it was so nice. The package included the screen protector, a wet wipe, and a dry wipe. (It was missing the dust stickers and squeegee – more on that later). The screen protector fits pretty well and has a beveled edge so it makes a smooth transition. In a perfect world, you could place the protector on one end of the phone screen and it would attach without bubbles. It almost did – but because I didn’t have the dust stickers, I ended up with two bubbles caused by teeny-tiny dust particles. Arg! Mad at myself, because I should have waited to get the stickers. But no, impatience got the better of me. So I dropped an email to Mothca to register the product and mentioned my struggles. To my complete surprise, they replied within a day! The rep (Andy) asked for more details about my situation and has worked to provide me with a replacement. As I found out through a great email exchange, they are proud of their product and really aim to please. In the meantime, I’ve kept the screen protector on and it works great – it diminishes glare significantly and has a smooth, silky, seamless feel. You won’t be disappointed.

I wish I’d thought to search for a matte finish screen protector years ago. It fits my kind of old phone perfectly, and I’m grateful the company offers fits for so many models. Also, I prefer to swipe rather than tap when I text, and this surface is so smooth it’s actually better for texting and writing notes. I love it and the price is great. Went on very easily, and tolerated my having to adjust because I’d misaligned my first couple of attempts. I definitely recommend.

Pros:1. Did not block light as much as I thought it would.2. Screen looked beautiful, very little display degradation if any3. Odd but made home button much easier to find in my pocket.4. Included a wet and dry wipe (Also a con)Cons:1. Screen is not Fingerprint Smudge proof, while very good at it, it is not as good at blocking smudges/fingerprints as its matte plastic cousins.2. Screen fitting without getting something stuck under the screen protector is still too difficult (might sound OCD, but I got a small fuzz from carpet stuck on the sticky side, and straight tape could not remove it.3. Does not include Micro-Fiber Cloth.The microfiber cloth is a must, and for god sakes if it is possible can someone just make an easier way to install and line up the screen protector than by sight? When you include only a single screen protector, and I fail too many times, the protector becomes useless and I have to buy another to get it right, which I refuse to do if I'm only buying one at a time :/What would be cool is if you could clip attach the screen protector to something you could use to cut the screen protector off that only fits the iphone 7 plus, and once bonded to the display, could be pulled off, this way you avoid mistakes and having to tear it off over and over again.All in all, while I was pleased with the quality of the product (and just changed my review to 4 stars from 3) I dislike that once these things begin to mess up the screen protector is essentially lost and the money I paid is just, kinda gone. because the more times you remove and re-add the screen protector, the dirtier it gets, and the higher the chance of you not wanting it on your phone anymore. While yes I could be super awesome at installing it myself, get it right without any mistakes at all on the first attempt, ensure im in a vaccum where fuzz doesnt get on it, put on gloves, possibly a hazmat suit to that I dont smudge the backside which is sticky and super difficult to clean...Id rather it be easy to install, and have some method of fixing it if I have a problem. I used a tape casing to attempt to remove said fuz for a good hour and a half before I decided I get paid more than the cost of this thing per hour and dont have an endless amount of time to devote to something providing a marginal benefit.If your good at installing these things, its an awesome screen protector for sure which is why I pumped up my review score. But I cant give an item that is as easy as it was to mess up to the point I didnt want it anymore a 5 star review, when I ended up throwing it, and the money I spent on it, away.

I saw a youtube video on this and at the time i had a really cracked normal screen protector. I decided to try this and i’m glad I did. It protects my screen just as well as a normal screen protector and does not chip or crack easily. There’s also zero bubbles, which is another “+1” on normal screen protectors. The anti-glare really works and is super useful when you’re riding in a car and the sun is at that one angle that makes it hard to see your screen. This makes it so much easier to see your screen. Another thing I love about this thing is there’s absolutely no fingerprints on it. I looked at my older brother’s phone today and it had so many smudges on it and i thought about how i did not miss that. Overall, great product.
