Sunlite Deluxe 26" Springer Fork Replica, 1" (Threaded)

Bought these forks to get that chopper look on my trike and they sure fit the part. They are not cheaply made for the modest price. A disc caliper mount is already installed so an adapter isn't needed. One issue was the paint thickness would not allow my wheel to mount without some slight filing.EDIT: After disassembling the fork and pivot bars I saw that the builder did include brass bushings in both the pivot arms and the holes where the spring shafts go thru. I did add some extra oillite washers from the hardware store to provide a surface for the bearing shoulder to rest...hopefully that will work as intended.

Wow these forks are great. I purchased the standard springer forks before these like the ones that came on the old banana seat bikes, and at “high speed” riding I had a wobble side to side I could not adjust out of it. I’m 6’3” around 220lbs and so I spent the money and got these for my Electra Hollywood beach cruiser and.... wow.. these are super rigid side to side. They are soo cool looking and fit great. I had a spacer made at work and anodized black to keep the length of the steerer tube. Couldn’t be happier. I plan to buy another set someday for my dyno duece overhaul.

You may get away with installing this on a 5 1/2” long frame head tube but it looks like 5 3/8” frame head tube will give you full thread engagement for top nut of headset stack. Will edit later after I cut my head tube down for better fit. Then we’ll see about performance. The look is GREAT. Weight is just about 1.4 pounds more that the RST Omega suspension fork it replaced.11/05/24. UPDATE: Wow, forgot all about this purchase. The bike doesn’t see much action now. This fork is horrible for speed and comfort. Love the look, but the lack of travel and general lack of precision feel is VERY noticeable. Great for show, not for go.

I LOVE THEM. I WILL NEVER LET THEM LEAVE ME. These forks are serious! Theyre thick as heck and sturdy. The paint job was impeccable. You may need stem(headset) washers to size it without cutting. Only needed 1 10mm washer for a perfect fit on my Firmstrong cruiser. Also make sure you use threadlock blue

Very heavy. I weigh 200 pounds and it doesn't spring at all. Do not buy.

Great replacement forks, the disc brake bracket is why I bought it though the cable guide is a little off for the position of the brake, it smoothed out the ride both from the springs and the extra 3 inches or so of length it adds to the bike I’m using it on a huffy nel lusso with a gasoline engine.

Stem is too short for most applications. Disk brake tabs are on the wrong side. This was the only reason I bought these forks. Had to cut my neck down to fit. My fault. When I put on my electric drive wheel, found out disk tabs were on the wrong side. Had to purchase a new braking system, non disk really sucks. The quality of construction and appearance are fine. Do your research before buying.
