This was a great product. My system actually runs on 24VDC - I used this product for a nest standard for power and it didn't care about what was on the switching function. Works great.

I have one nest thermostat that only had a 2 conductor thermostat wire run to it that was acting up a bit and giving me low battery errors. With only a 2 conductor wire there was no spare to be used as a c wire. My only option was to use a product like this or ripout and replace the existing cable. Since ripout wasn't a viable option I purchased this product. Install was a breeze but I also had access to the backside of the thermostat due to its placement on a shared wall in my mudroom with my unfinished garage so I will be able to hide the wire. If this had been needed in a part if my house with finished walls so the wire could no be hidden I would have thought twice about using it and ripout and replace likely would have been pursued. The wire is super long at about 25 feet. I only needed about 8 feet so I've got the rest coiled up for now. I plan to change the routing of the wire but when I do that I'll cut off the excess length.

I used this to power Amazon Thermostat and it worked flawlessly easy to install great value for your money low heat level and the cord was very long powered the thromastat perfectly had no problems

It works but doesn't have the amperage capacity it states. Running a thermostat and relay on this. Worked well for a few weeks, but now it doesn't have the amperage to activate the relay. Combined units are well below the rated capacity. I know I'm using it outside of normal means, but it should still be capable of what it's rated for

In order to install this to your thermostat to power it, you must wire wrap the wires as you can see my yellow wire is a thicker gauge attached to the thermostat and to the black wires of the transformer. Then after plugging it in and , making sure it powers up, solder your wires to the transformer and use electrical tape to finish.I wish the transformer wires were a thicker gauge. for me to add extra wires to make this work it wasn't difficult, but others that are not handy may think so. I would have given 5 stars.

I ordered this product to be used with my new Amazon Smart Thermostat for my wall gas heater. It's working great and I've had no problems with this product since I installed it. A+++++Recommend this product for any other buyers that need an external power source for their equipment.
