These really work
I had to stop giving my dog monthly prescription flea and tick preventative oral meds because he started having seizures. I needed to find a non-pharmaceutical flea and tick preventative so this past spring I decided to give these a try based on the mostly positive reviews. I started giving them to our dog daily in early March, well before flea and tick season in our area as the directions recommend. He weighs 47 lbs so I gave him 2 tablets every day March through October. To my surprise, he never had a flea or tick all spring, summer or fall except after I stopped giving them to him in early November, foolishly thinking tick season was over. Within a week or so of discontinuing them I found several ticks on him so I restarted them and haven't found any more ticks on him within a few days of restarting. The key is that you really have to give them to your dog every single day all season long, starting early in the year. Once you make it part of a routine it's not a big deal. At first my dog wasn't that interested in them but if I leave them in his bowl he always ends up eating them. I never noticed any side effects in my dog--no gassiness, odor, or stomach issues. The tablets have a very strong garlic smell but didn't make my dog smell like garlic or anything. Giving my dog two tablets per month it ends up costing about the same as the monthly prescription preventatives did. I'll definitely be continuing to give my dog Pet Honesty flea and tick preventative. I highly recommend them to any dog owner looking for an alternative to the pharmaceutical flea and tick prevention products. Just be sure to try not to miss doses and plan to give them to your dog most of the year, if not year-round if you don't have cold winters where you live.

At Least It Works!
I have four dogs on a farm, so keeping fleas away can be a nightmare. I've used garlic and brewers yeast supplements before, but when my favorite brand disappeared I had to find something new. I admit it took a good month of daily use before this product seemed to start working, but once it did, I was thrilled. The price seems a bit outrageous. But in the winter months we've been able to give it only twice a week, instead of daily, which makes it last longer. I have at least one dog who's prone to yeast infections, and she doesn't do as well with this. This is not actually a problem with the product... it just contains yeast. So if your dog has a yeast infection, watch to make sure the supplement doesn't worsen their condition. All but one of my dogs likes the flavor of these. They smell like fake bacon treats, so I assume they taste similar, but my King just hates it. Unfortunately the smell is too strong to hide it in his food, so we have to get inventive. Overall I really do like this product. It does what it claims to do, and is made out of decent ingredients. It's expensive, some dogs have issues with yeast, and some hate the taste... but at least the fleas are gone!!

Pleas avoid especially if you have Japanese Breed. Almost killed 2 of Shiba inu.
I almost lost 2 of Shiba inu…I found great review in Amazon, I will copy here ( thank you B.Engenretson) ——————- Garlic, which is a member of the Allium family, and poisonous to dogs, especially in powdered form, such as in seasonings. Japanese dogs (Akita, Japanese Spitz, Shiba Inu) seem to be more adversely affected by garlic, but the reason is unclear. Some experts believe it is because of the high red blood cell count and lower levels of glutathione (tripeptide protein) and potassium, which is hereditary in these breeds. Garlic poisoning does major damage to the red blood cells, causes gastrointestinal upset. ———————— 1st can had no affect. They loved flavor , but flea repellent affect was minimum. But since they loved it, I bought second can. Shortly after I used second can, problem happened. ( please know Garlic can accumulate system over the time, so you can have delayed reactions) A female Shiba inu ( on the pic , 25 pound), had massive diarrhea with blood….I thought I lost her. She hid in the back yard, refused to eat for 5 days….at 5 th day I started to offer goat milk…she refused. I gave her about 1 tabs of warm goat milk with syringe for 2 days. I had no hope at that point. Her body was so cold and she was lookin for place to die. ( on pic, she was hiding did not want to come in the house) At 8 th day she took small kibble from my hand, and now 14 th day, she is still not eating normal amount of food, but finally went to short walk last night! Her brother male Shiba inu ( 30 pound) started similar symptom as 3 days delay. No blood though, but he has not be able to eat normal food yet. 5 days straight diarrhea ….. My 3rd dog is mini American Shepard ( 35 pound) . She just had one day of lethargic day and one big diarrhea, but never lost appetite. She was sick for only one day. I stopped this treat as soon as my female Shiba inu got sick. It was miracle she recovered…
