Tripel Karmeliet Belgian Craft Beer Large Bottle, 6 x 750 ml

This an absolutely superb beer. Fantastic flavour, robust strength and outstanding presentation. If you like Belgian beers, I'm pretty sure you'll love this. I've ordered this a couple of times, and on both occasions delivery was prompt and the product arrived in perfect condition. The price is fair at it's current level (equal to just under £5 per bottle), but it is reduced at this time. This liquid is insanely drinkable and can creep up on you if you're not careful.

Clean, strong beer. Crisp. Very pleasant aftertaste. It has great complexity and you can taste the depth. I’ll definitely order this again.

I'll first need to admit that I work for the company who produces this beer, but I don't usually like strong Belgian beers. I had a glass on a work event and was pleasantly surprised how drinkable it was. Even the more fussy beer drinkers will have no problem enjoying Tripel Karmeleit, it creeps up on you because it's very strong, so be careful slamming pints of it. The beer is best enjoyed at around a 300ml serving. The bottle and presentation gives a nice regal feel and would bring a touch of flair to holiday celebrations. Great beer and I will be buying again once I run out.

Mrs Pugh is a beer aficionado and this incredible beer received a rare 5 star rating from her during a recent trip to Antwerp. Although, to my father's shame, I do not like beer, my wife has developed discerning tastebuds for for the stuff. Her words are that this is such a remarkably smooth beer - triple-filtered of course - and has such a remarkable depth of flavour. It's a very sophisticated beer; we have introduced many friends to this delightful beer, so we hope we've helped Karmeliet shift a few more cases. Strong as most Belgian beers are, but utterly sublime. Highly recommended.

This is nice enough but there something of an after taste that doesn't appeal to me. It's not an awful beer and I'm sure plenty of people will enjoy this, but just not for me.

Excellent beer every bottle tells a different story. Superb from start to finish. This is a magical 400 year old recipe the idea for which must have been handed down from heaven. Caution though it is very strong, one bottle is enough to fully relax you. Treat it with respect. Drink slowly and savour every drop.

One of the great Belgian beers, although there are many! One of my favourites, though at 8% it's easy to have one too many of these. It's got the base of a blond but then the alcohol kick which takes it to the next level. Classic.
