it says on the box they are beer buckets. I consider them wine instead. this hold A LOT of water which make it wonderful and you don't have to watch it as carefully. it has helped greatly as I also have the humming bird one for a more higher pitch and this one for the lows and it works beautifully. The lights on the bottom you can cover partially with the rocks that come with it or not at all or completely. But this things runs night and day. have had no issues at all with it. Highly recommend Distilled water in it and always make sure the pump is covered in water.I bought this fountain November 4th, 2013. It was my 2nd fountain. The light went out on it 3 and a half weeks ago and there is no way of replacing it. it also got covered in SLIME which I tried to clean and paint fell off. it is the only one I have now that runs. I have used Distilled water just as I was advised to do per the manufacture and I have used a water fountain cleaner from Amazon that was over $17.00 and it helps but now it looks funny and no light. Great, not too happy.

Muy bonito pero no se oye el agua caer..Quiero opinar nuevamente de este artículo., muy bonito, como dije en un principio, pero ya no funciona., solo tiene luz, ya el agua no cae, así que revalorizo mi opinión y ahora digo que es “bonito” únicamente.!.du función primordial ya la perdió y lo compré el 9 de julio, a penas 2 meses de uso, malísima inversión y no hay manera de contactar al vendedor para ver soluciones. Cero recomendación.

The media could not be loaded.  So adorable! We were told by our company to get something fun or relaxing for our home office ! This was a great choice. I had read some reviews saying to put some pebbles in the buckets for a bigger splashing sound. I bought some round glass rocks that you put in fish tanks. It does make a difference. The pump is super quiet! This would also make a great gift!

Cute little fountain, and it works great. It's not noisy and is very stable. I bought it for my cat, whom I have spoiled by letting her drink out of the faucet. She knew exactly what to do and drank out of several times the first day. She hasn't used it since then. If you're buying it for a cat, I would recommend placing one larger stone over the light, which is in the bottom barrel, to keep it from shining in your cat's eyes.

Don't let the pictures fool you, this is a great little fountain for indoors. I was a bit skeptical when ordering, wondering how this product would look and sound. It's great. The fountain is small - about one foot tall. It sits on a small table in the bedroom, and mostly runs during the night. It only requires a small amount (less than 12 ounces) of bottled water every few days if run for several hours each night. The water can be heard trickling from the top bucket to the bottom, but that's it. It was pretty easy to put together too, and only took a few minutes to do so. A happy little addition to the home!

Very nice table top fountain, doesn't make much noise tho. I added a couple of rocks and that improved the sound of the water flowing

It’s very cute and water flows consistently. The more water you put it drowns the motor, but you can still hear it a bit. But I have to unplug it at night. The water sound is too load and not very zen-like

The media could not be loaded.  This fountain is just what I was looking for. I didn't have to modify it, it came out of the box perfect. The motor is so quiet you can't hear it, and the water sound is nice and soothing. I did put one of the small stones that it comes with slightly in the wedge of the spout from the small barrel to the big barrel to agitate the water for more sound. It's so hard to find a small and inexpensive fountain with a quiet motor, and this one is it. I love it!

Creo que vale mucho la pena por el diseño, funciona bien, emite luz y es fácil de armar y de usar. Excelente opción para feng shui.

A beautiful, almost silent table fountain.Looks rustic and the shining light in the bottom barrel is a nice touch.I was surprised at the size of the fountain -- it was perfect for my desktop.
