It works great, especially if you don’t live on ground floor.
Hello, I don’t usually do these, but I figured it would help out the next new aquatic turtle owner. Normally, I would clean the tank by syphoning the water into a bucket and dumping it outside like Im sure a lot of people do. However, I just moved to Seattle and now live on the sixth floor and can’t just dump it. I also hated the idea of dumping it in the tub because that’s where I clean my body. That’s when I discovered this awesome siphon. This siphon attaches to your water facet and uses the force of the water to pump tank water down the sink. It also can reverse the flow and pump water into the tank from the facet so you don’t really have to worry about water getting everywhere! It’s fast and clean.

Good choice if you have way bigger tanks
I received the package as described on the website. The faucet adapter works well, though it requires a slight adjustment to prevent leaks. The gravel tube is larger than I expected, but it gets the job done. It's important to note that it takes a considerable amount of water to drain the tank because you need to keep the tap on to create the suction required for draining. I wish the gravel tube were a bit smaller and easier to handle; otherwise, I have no complaints.

Works great at 1/2 the price of a real Python
Overall it works great! It came with multiple brass fittings to connect it to your sink, and as long as you give yourself enough length for your needs it should work fine. My only criticism is that I wish the connection point to the vacuum part had a screw hose clamp instead of just the plastic one as I did have it "blow off" the end once. I was able to get it stopped quick enough that the only damage was me being a little damp, and now I just leave the end open when I switch from vacuuming to filling the tank (which also minimizes any "jet spray" effect from the air in the hose, which seemed to happen no matter how little water pressure I used, probably due to the length of hose.)In short, this is a great water changer and has all but eliminated buckets from my aquarium changes (except sometimes for my little tank, which is too small for this vacuum for anything less than 50% water changes). Highly recommend it even as an off brand - just watch a few youtube videos first if you've never used a water changer before.

Faucet quick connect leaks/sprays!!!!
Love how long of a hose you get and the ability to pump water into your tank! No more buckets! (Will be getting a sump pump soon)The reason for 3/5 stars is because the metal fittings used to attach to faucets completely suck! They are the cheapest I have seen!!! They spray water everywhere!! ( I will be keeping because my faucet is outside that I use for filling so it can spray all it wants!)The vacuum portion itself does not leak and the valve works great I had it full flow, stopped and set the vacuum, and hose on the floor with no leaks.

Works but it’s pretty slow
The media could not be loaded. Work great and makes it very easy for water change time. It is very slow and has weak suction though I thought I’d mention that. I initially let my faucet run while it was draining to give it better suction and make it go faster but it quickly flooded my bathroom floor while I wasn’t paying attention. Once it gets started you can turn the faucet off and it’ll continue but it’s more like a get it going and go do other household tasks for like 20-30 minutes depending on tank size and how much water you want to remove but this is just fine for me. Water refilling is much faster and very convenient.

works great!
had this since october, works fine hooked up to my slop sink, no issues except just watch for kinks because they decrease the amount of flow.
