I wanted a digital scale that measured Grain weight of gunpowder for reloading. This one looked good for the price. It works & uses two AAA batteries that are included.My 2 dislikes- it came in a very cheap box that was coming apart and had no padding. The scale itself has a really cheap look & feel like a cheap toy. Mold lines, buttons have a feel that make you wonder how long they’ll last. I’ll update after I use it a while. Ok, Ive used this a good bit recently for reloading & calibrating my powder measure throw weights. This scale is not accurate enough for precision reloading. It’s often off by .2 to .5 grains. And I have to keep resetting zero with my powder pan on it really often. It gets off by .3 grains or more. I’ll be chunking this for a better one. If you’re guesstimating weights, I guess it will work for other things.

The first model I purchased was all over the place, it wouldn't even zero. It went from negative to positive values with nothing on the table. Not this one. This model appears to be rock solid. It arrived with a thin cushioning material under the table, and needed to be removed before using. I'm sure it helps reduce damage while shipping. The included weight weighed in at the 50 grams that it's labeled. I weighed it before even calibrating the unit. My 100 grain broad heads weigh in at 100.8, and it stays there. Even though the scale may read 0.00 upon turning on, I still tare it before weighing anything just in case. Very happy with this scale at this point.

This is a nice, portable, easy to use, and inexpensive scale. It is easy to use, easy to read, and mode changing is easy.Battery changing is....easy.Time will tell if this unit is reliable, and dependable.The cover on mine is not snapping fully closed any more, but that is minor.My only negative comment is the accuracy, or more correctly the resolution. My unit only reads to even decimals. I use units of grains when measuring.This resolution means my accuracy is off, I am assuming by .1gr since I am assuming the unit rounds up/down appropriately.Nobody would use this for reloading, so that is not a concern. For the price, it meets my expectations and needs. It is a simple portable unit that I will continue to use.
