Good Batteries, Good Value
Got this set for my Nikon 3200. (One Nikon EN-EL19 battery is not enough for a full day of hiking trip.) The Wasabi batteries work very well and each charge lasts quite long. I was concerned if these non-Nikon batteries would damage the camera. Used these through many cycles, but encountered no problems. The low price makes it a very good deal. (Wasabi is not just for my sushi any more.)

Great charger and batteries.
This is the second set of Wasabi Charger and batteries that I have purchased. We loved the first one, so we did not consider anyone else when we bought a new camera. The batteries are as good as the original Nikon battery that came with the camera, and the charger works great and has a charge status indication LED (red, yellow and green.) The first unit we bought the battery could only be installed one way in the charger, and we never had any problems. This unit the battery can be installed incorrectly, and when done so will indicate full change, even if it is fully discharged. We just experimented with all possible orientations, until we found the correct one. We are very happy with the batteries and charger; and will definitely buy another Wasabi with our next new camera.

These batteries work perfectly in my camera
I purchased a new camera and with all portable electronics, always purchase extra batteries. I haven't done a critical evaluation comparing the original battery with these, but these do seem to hold up well. The charger works well and will charge up the original battery. It was an inexpensive solution to having plenty of extra power for the camera on all-day sightseeing outings with lots of camera use in both still and video modes.

Just what I have been looking for
After borrowing a friend's Nikon Coolpix camera for a road trip I was taking in 2010, I came across situations where I needed an extra set of batteries and a way of recharging the batteries while I was traveling in the car. I was planning my road trip for 2011 when I started thinking what camera to get and how to recharge the batteries while driving. I decided on a Nikon Coolpix S3100 camera and was researching for extra batteries and power inverters to power devices from the 12 power socket on Amazon when I came across the Wasabi Power Battery and Charger kit from Blue Nook. I was skeptical, getting 2 higher rated batteries and a charger for the price of one OEM battery. I ordered the kit and received it a 4 days. I used it on my trips in 2011 and it came in handy with the extra batteries and being able to recharge the batteries while driving. It exceeded my expectations and I recommend it to anyone who needs to carry extra batteries and the ability to recharge them while on the move.

Nice Spare
I haven't had these very long so it is difficult to judge battery life once charged. They did charge right up and worked well in my camera. I have a set up like this for a different camera and it has worked well for several years. If the amperage rating is accurate I suspect they may hold a charge longer than the original battery.

Great, but NO owner manual.
Good purchase, worked well except NO OWNER MANUAL. I tried to find an owner manual in-line, but could NOT find any.Confusing on when battery is charged.

I am pleased with this product
I purchased this kit back in April. It is as advertised and functions properly. I think the people having trouble with the charger are just not orienting the battery correctly in the charger. The charger has three spring loaded contacts. The one on the far left is a positive, one in the middle is a negative, and another positive on the far right side. When you insert the battery just look and make sure that one of the positive pins is contacting one of the openings on the battery and the negative pin is touching one of the openings on the battery. If not, just flip the battery over. Only two of the charger pins contact the battery, NOT all three. It will not charge if you don't have it inserted correctly. I am pleased with this product.

How to place battery in charger.
So far, I have had good luck with Wasabi batteries and chargers. I have not had any longer than about a year, so I don't know how long they will last. This charger for the EN-EL 19 batteries has given others some problems and it gave me problems as well. It looks like it does not fit these batteries. The charger contacts do not match the contacts on the battery. Very disconcerting. Also the charger compartment looked too large for the battery. I complained, ordered a replacement and found that it was exactly the same. This time I fiddled with it longer and found the right way to make the battery fit and charge. The battery has to go in this charger, on the left side of the compartment. The battery has to be label side down, warning side up. Then the charger contacts match the battery contacts and the battery will charge. It was not obvious to me and there are no instructions. My photos show the correct orrientation of the battery on the left side of the charger with the warning label up. A small wedge of plastic on the charger helps push the battery to the left side of the charger. My other photo shows how the battery contacts match up with the left most contacts on the charger. The right most contact on the charger is not used with this battery.
