Down To Earth All Natural Fertilizers Organic Granular Humic Acids - Soil Amendment Adds Carbon, Increases Nutrient Uptake, 5 lb

This stuff more than any other fertilizer or soil additive I’ve tried really revitalized my lawn and my raised beds virtually overnight. I mix a cup of this in a gallon water jug with a cup of azomite or other rock dust like basalt, and a half a teaspoon of beneficial soil microbes to make a concentrated soil additive that I sprinkle on my lawn and raised beds. The rock dust is to give the plant additional trace minerals. The humic acid also provides some minerals like silica but mostly it helps the plants roots grow thicker and stronger and it helps the plant bind trace minerals so that they are more nutrient dense.

Humid acids are a must for refreshing soil in garden beds or containers. The roots of plants love it and the beneficial microbes in the soil do as well. Try it. You will not regret it

First, it's important to understand what this is for. Humic and fulvic acids help chelate nutrients and minerals in your soil, thusly making it much easier for plants to uptake them. It's especially benefit for soils that are compacted and/or alkaline as both will lock soil nutrients from being consumed by the plant efficiently. Now, with that said, you get a lot of bang for your buck here and it works well, albeit slowly if top soil dressed since it takes time for the pellets to break down. For quicker action and more even distribution, I recommend dissolving it into water first and then applying. I do two tbsp per gallon of water. You'll also want to make sure you're wearing gloves while handing the pellets. They're black as night and will leave tons of residue on your hands.

This is the stuff. Super easy to use and makes plants very happy. I have had good luck with all of this companies products.

Improves your soil,be careful not to use to much

Humic acid alone isnt a miricle ammendment that provides instant results like a nitrogen rich fertilizer. It's real majic is how it helps to break down organic nutrients and how it aids in the roots obsorbtion of them. A very vital part of any organic soil that should be utilized. I use down to earth organic soil ammendments exclusively when building super or living soils and humic acid is high on the list of ammendments. If your serious about organic growing or if you want to improve existing soil this is a must have ammendment to create balance and diversity. Well worth the price.
