I have to admit that they don't fit every door. I had to modify one to fit a smaller opening. I take them both with me and have found that I use the modified one more. Never the less they do exactly what they are supposed to do and give you that extra piece of mind when travelling and locking your door.

highly recommend if going on holiday, especially to a foreign country definitely feels a lot safer knowing no one can come in

I’m not sure if my ADHD brain is just incapable of figuring out the mechanics but you can’t use this product if your door is in a recess, as in there is a wall immediately next to it. Unless you’re unbelievably skinny, have no bones or have flat arms. Several YouTube videos have failed to provide a solution so I’m afraid this isn’t fit for purpose for me. I don’t think there’s any mention of this in the description just that the door needs to open toward you which mine do but they also happen to have a small wall next to the handle so ... Amazon were incredible with helping me sort out a refund and once COVID allows travel this will be be useful for hotels or b & b rooms I’m sure. The product is a great idea and will add an extra sense of security especially when travelling. As long as there isn’t a wall next to your door!

However it doesn’t fit every door. It was too large for mine,however after reading another review I altered it myself and after doing this it fit into the gap and then stopped the door opening , so yes happy that it is doing what it’s made to do. Only issue would be if I wasn’t at home and didn’t have a hammer and some pliers. For me still happy with the product though

Although it is a great product, but if your door doesn’t match the square holes then it’s pretty useless 😭

Really great product, built very well and sturdy. Once installed correctly you pretty much have to break the door down to get in, it doesn’t look easy to bypass from the other side of the door either. I’m sure someone will come up with a way, but they’d have to know what was there. May not work on every single door, I tried a few in the flat of the same type but not every keep had been chiseled out correctly preventing installation between the door and the jam. Something to watch out for, maybe pack a mini chisel with it as well if taking on holiday. P.S. also doubles up as a bottle opener :)

Didn’t fit the door so couldn’t use

This is a great device and such peace of mind when it come to security. Such a simple concept but it really works! I bought it for my daughter who is in student accomodation in a shared house without locked bedroom doors! This simple device is so easy to use and makes it secure for her at night. Definitely worth the small cost of purchase for the security it gives.
