Q: Could i leave the essential oil in my hair overnight ? do i need to mix with carrier oil ? and how about the ratios ?

I am not sure this applies to all hair types but for Asian hair, I mix a few drops with my shampoo and massage it onto my scalp while shampooing. Then I use a few drops to massage it onto my scalp, leave it in while I do everything else, then rinse it through. It is much lighter than coconut oil so it does not feel greasy at all. Grapefruit oil is supposed to stimulate hair growth and prevent hair loss. It won't help much with the split end problem though. Argan oil would be very nice with split ends. Hope this helps.
