This turned out unexpectedly great, especially for the price. I have it mounted in a recessed lighting spot above the shower and the audio is surprisingly good! There's actually some bass coming out of the thing, to the point where I had to turn it down on my phone's EQ. There's not a phone app to control anything, but the pairing is super simple and easy. The light resets to full white every time you cycle the power with the wall switch, wish it would remember last setting, but if you use the remote for on/off it will remember. It pairs back with the phone super quick for audio and the remote is easy enough to use to get it to the color I want. The remote is *not* RF, it's definitely IR, so you have to point it at the light for it to register. Sometimes bouncing it off the mirror works though.In an interesting design decision, if you want a fixed color you're limited to a small set (intensities of Red, Green, or Blue). However in the cycle modes it will transition through them all showing a bunch of intermediate colors. The red is *really* dark, even at "full intensity", so much so that it's really hard to see anything if that's the only light on in there. Although as an overnight nightlight it's perfect since your eyes don't have to adjust; I feel like I could safely develop film in there!The reacting-to-music mode is trippy. It's quite responsive (as long as you have the incoming feed loud enough). It almost feels rave-ready in there now!

Had for 8 months, still working great. There have been a few times where I heard some noise when turning on the light and nothing connects. It usually stops quickly and only happened rarely. Audio is loud and clear. Light is bright but not as bright as other bulbs. Best to use with other bulbs and not as a main source of light. Easy and quick to connect. Packaging and instructions are cheap but the actual bulb and remote makes up for it. Highly recommended.

Drops signal alot. Is HUGE, doesnt fit in any of mh ceiling sockets. Music sounds ok when it works. Changes color to the music well. If you turn on and the off and then back onthe light switch the bukb will go into some demo mode. Really it should be a party favor or something for the kids.

What an amazing little speaker! You can turn it up basically to max before it sound tinny and the color change is also fun! The only prob I have with it is when it's "white" it's SUPER WHITE so we leave it on light yellow most of the time.

This is a great product! Screw it into a fixture, turn on your music source with Bluetooth, and it will automatically sync. I've had great fun playing with the various colors and modes of light. It also has unexpectedly rich sound. Even my husband, who rarely buys anything new, was impressed. Today is December 7, and I wanted to update my review. Still love this bulb and am on my way now to the webpage to buy a second one. Going to put it in the other and of the house and see if I can reach both of them via Bluetooth and have music through the whole house. :-)

I'm amazed at how good this little speaker works. The remote not only controls the color, flashing and level of lighting but also the music on the phone with volume, play and prev/next song buttons.

Bought this for the Echo Dot. It works and was easy to pair. The sound is ok, and like most have mentioned, it's no where near the quality of a regular bookshelf speaker or other blue tooth speaker, but good enough that I am happy with the purchase.Pros:Sound is good for what it isLouder than the speaker on the Echo dotLight is good and works ok.The extra colors are nice, but i don't really use it that oftenPairing was easy and Echo dot remembers so it automatically pairs when it is turned on.Cons:Sound quality could be better (more bass)The lights beating to music doesn't work (at least not on mine).Only pairs to one bulb at a time.Can't get the light color to match the other standard (soft white color) lights in the same room.Not very durable (mishandled it and it broke into two parts with the wire breaking - ended up welding and gluing it back together)A bit large (Won't fit in certain places)

Delivery was right on time. I received my bulbs today and put them in. Easy set up. Put them in the socket, turn on bluetooth settings on your device and pull the tab out of the remote and voila!!! The sound is pretty good for a light bulb. I put two in my woman-cave in seperate sections and I can play two different songs so I love it. It's only day one so we'll see how long the system lasts.
