rature: Lowering the room temperature can also help prevent your tree from drying out too quickly.
a tree isn't looking fresh, ensure it has a fresh cut at the base of the trunk, is placed in a stand with a water reservoir, and is kept away from heat sources and direct sunlight to help it stay hydrated and fresh. Here's a more detailed explanation: 1. Ensure a Fresh Cut: Why? A fresh cut allows the tree to absorb water more effectively. When a tree is cut, resin seals the trunk, preventing water uptake. How? When you bring your tree home, cut about half an inch off the base of the trunk. Tip: Make sure the cut is straight across, not angled or in a V-shape, as flat cuts provide more surface area for water absorption. 2. Provide Adequate Water: Why? A tree needs a lot of water, especially in the first few days after being cut. How? Use a tree stand with a built-in reservoir and keep it filled with water. Tip: A good rule of thumb is to provide 1 quart of water per inch of trunk diameter. Check the water level daily and top it off as needed. Avoid: Adding chemicals, aspirin, bleach, or other additives to the water, as they can be detrimental to the tree's moisture retention. 3. Protect from Heat and Direct Sunlight: Why? Heat and direct sunlight can cause the tree to dry out quickly. How? Keep the tree away from fireplaces, heaters, heat vents, and direct sunlight. Tip: Use low-heat lights, such as LED lights, to reduce drying. 4. Monitor for Freshness: Why? Regularly check the tree for signs of dryness, such as needles turning brown or brittle. How? If you notice signs of dryness, make sure the tree is getting enough water and is not exposed to heat or direct sunlight. Tip: If the tree is truly dry, you may not be able to revive it, but a fresh cut and consistent watering can help a tree stay fresh for a longer period. 5. Additional Tips: Water immediately: Once you bring the tree home, place it in water as soon as possible. Don't drill holes: Drilling holes in the trunk does not improve water uptake. Don't whittle down the sides of the trunk: If you have to whittle down the sides of the trunk to fit, the tree is too large for your stand. Check the water level frequently: Trees can drink large amounts of water, especially in the first few days. Lower the room temperature: Lowering the room temperature can also help prevent your tree from drying out too quickly.

It's worth buying (with some compromise)
There are some Plus and Minus to this purchase... Plus: - Plants came alive (technically quite wilted) inspite 4-5 days transit from Kolkata to Bengaluru - Good plants for the price in absence of alternatives Minus: - Packing of these plants was not ideal. Plants were just shoved into a plastic cover and heat sealed packed inside a carton. Such packing without water retaining material along can mostly kill the plant during transit. - Plants arrived dirty - Plants look different from the sellers listing pictures. Seller should take time and update pictures to actual plants being sold - Plants look pale after 4-5 day journey. I have put them in water hoping they come back to their original state

Satisfactory
The product is overpriced. Packaging and delivery was good. Health of plant was okay. But the plants are melting even though kept in open balcony which receives partial sunlight during the day.
