Superb product! Very fresh, very tasty, lasts in the fridge for months. Elevates every dish. If used in tiny amounts the dish just gets better without it being obvious why and when you use in larger amounts you clearly taste the miso itself which is delicious too. If you are vegan, this is a real have to have! The only critic I have is that it is packed in a plastic container instead of glass. This makes it less sustainable and there is the issue of micro-plastics leaching in, not too much with miso, but still ideally to be avoided.

The product arrived with a puffed foil and a leak. I could not use mine as puffers seal is a sign of it being spoils, 😔

It tastes good for miso, but it's only after I tasted miso for the first time that I realised I'm not a fan of the flavour itself. 😭

This miso is not pasteurised so is actually good for the guy. It tastes wonderful in soups. Has a strong umami flavour so very little quantity has to be used. Have reordered it... it's that good. I take it out of the plastic bottle it comes in and keep it in a glass bottle in the fridge

Package arrived wet. Cardboard box was wet and full of miso. Miso container and labels were soaked in miso. Seal was wide open and container was half full ( see picture) It it wasn't for packaging it would be a very good product

My miso left Delhi on the 9th afternoon and reached me in goa on the 11th afternoon. (Yes was tracking it keenly so that I knew what degree of explosion to expect.lol) Exactly 48 hours and thankfully only a slight leak. Authentic shiro miso. Point to note yes the jar is half full but it is 250 gms as stated. I weighed it after burping the bottle. I think they do it to reduce miso explosions during travel. And those of who care about what goes into our systems would rather deal with leaks than preservatives. Needless to say I'll def be ordering from them again.
