I got this to complete my A-Squad figures and this was one of the figures I needed to get. First thing I will say is that the helmet is just the yellow space ranger helmet with an SPD logo on it. It is also bulkier to match a male body. I do have to say like most of the SPD a squad lightning figure that the paint job is just terrible on these figures. Hasbro has terrible quality control with either wrong helmets or bad paint jobs. There are either spots that are missing on the paint job or they just misaligned the paint job so it looks super awkward. It be easier to buy this if you see it in store as you can at least find the best one that is not badly misaligned. Some of the remaining details are okay but not the best. You can tell they just cheaply made these with the armor and belt just simple plastic pieces and not really painted. Unlike the blue a-squad figure, this one at least has the proper silver matching color with the rest of the a-squad figure so you do not have to worry about . The "fire effect" piece actually matches the yellow color. The hands are terrible to grip the weapon. You have to bend the hand piece out a bit in order to get it to fit into their hand but it sometimes just falls out. You also cannot grip the correct area of the gun on the other hand as it cannot extend that far. You have to do the same with the other hand (bend it a bit) as well if you want it to grip the bottom of the figure. The weapons are okay but again they do not grip onto the hands very well. You have to force it on in order to really get it to hold. Even then it is super easy to just fall off so it is not exactly the best playing toy either. Unlike the pink and red, you do get some wiggle room as these figures are a bit sturdier due to the body being bigger. Regardless, it actually causes it to warp a bit if you are not careful not to force the weapon too much. The figures do not have too much posing ability. This particular figure cannot stand on its own and it easily falls over. You cannot put it in many different stances as the weight might cause it to fall over. It's fallen off my shelf a few times. The joints are at least solid for the most part. It has not loosened or anything which is good. Overall the figures are not very good and already can tell just by the helmet paint quality. There are spots that weren't painted. That is just terrible quality control. The hands are terrible and not well shaped to hold the weapon. You have to force the figure hands open to hold the weapon and it looks awkward. Also the figure paint is not very good. It is off in so many places and should have some kind of quality control to avoid this. I understand it is mass made but it should have some quality control. Unless you are looking to collect the A-squad figure, you may want to avoid these lightning figures as they are just not up to par in quality. Unfortunately there is no SH figure of these so it is what it is.

A common issue with these guys is the whole for the pegs are too short and so some of the peg sticks out making their hand look weird. He suffers that with his right hand. Two fists as alternative hands. He can hold the weapon without issues but his paint is honestly poorly executed in the few places where it is. The head of these rangers can't tilt, it's limited. After that, he's quite fun to move around and I'm glad I got him as this rangers team is quite different and I like it.His vest is removable, he's just black plastic beneath it if you want to use his body for something else.
