The Children's Place Girls Basic Short Sleeve Layering Tee

Bought this for our daughter to tie dye in her middle school science class. She is 12 and wears size 14 in girls clothing. The length of the shirt was perfect and quality was great for dying it. It was definitely durable for all the creativity it went through. She also needed the shirt to be 100% cotton. So this was perfect.

Love these shirts. They fit my daughter really well. The fabric is soft and seems to be high quality. The color was bright and didn't fade after washing and drying.

These white tees took on my Procion tie dye extremely well. The colors turned out more vibrant than any other tee I have tie dyed with same dyes and methods. I am really pleased. These shirts have gone through several washes since then and no color fading whatsoever. The attached picture is of one of the shirts that must have been washed at least 10 times by now. I have bought 2 sizes of this shirt (small and medium) for two different kids (both 5 years old, one wears size 5 and the other 6 in most brands). In each case, the shirts were a tad too small, especially after the tie dye process (shrinkage). The fabric is the softest cotton I have seen in a tee. It is also a little on a thicker side. And I love the cut, very flattering. Although the shirts fit girls snugly, they looked very cute. I will definitely buy these again for my next tie dye. UPDATE: a year later and my daughter still wears this shirt. I am amazed it still fits her (my daughter stretched out a little over the year and probably so did the shirt). I am more amazed at how well this shirt held up. It is just as soft as it was and the colors from tie dye are just as vibrant. This is my favorite tie dye shirt we have ever done.

Good quality but runs a little small and tight. Would suggest sizing up.
