I have small feet and the fins are a bit too big, but I wear my water shoes in them which completely solves the problem. You should never be in coral waters without water shoes anyway, so it works out.I completely disagree that the shorter length is less effective for swimming. I've used these in all sorts of conditions and they're great (I'm a snorkeler, not a scuba diver.)I'm a digital nomad and I am traveling the world with only a backpack. I can clip these in their carry bag onto the outside of my backpack and get on any airline (so far).100% recommend.

i CHOSE THE ADJUSTABLE BACK SO THAT IT WOULD FIT ANYONE IN MY FAMILY. THEY LOOPK NICE AND STURDY.

Ehh, just ok not long enough to propel thru deeper water but I did know they were short for traveling and packing I managed

The material is very comfortable and flexible and I think they will work fine. They are great travel size and should fit in any carry-on bag. My negative review is based on poor sizing. I bought several pairs of these Capas and Greatever fins (the exact same fins btw) for sizing. The sizing is NOT as shown. The L/XL is definitely for a mens 9-13 (and women's 10-14). HOWEVER, the S/M is only 1/2" shorter in the footbed. It is a sloppy fit for a 9.5 women's. It should be a couple inches smaller. I would say the S/M is more like a women's 9-12. And the kid's sizes are WAY too small. We settled on the S/M for my wife. She wears a size 9.5 women's, but these are too big even with her wide foot. She has the strap ratcheted most of the way down. I think they will work, but as stated above the S/M is more like a women's 9-12.

We ordered these for a snorkeling trip. I liked the pretty purple color, and the fins worked great. My only complaint was that it was a little hard to adjust the ankle straps.
