I NEVER write product reviews, but wow. I bought into the red light trend with a lot of doubt, hoping it would bring some positive change into my routine. I didn’t really expect much, but I’m honestly blown away. I don’t really have acne but I’ve always struggled with skin texture, and after a month of consistent usage my face literally feels as smooth as printer paper. I initially did 15 mins every other day, but switched over to 10 mins every day. It’s also seemingly helped me deal with my winter seasonal moodiness, but I don’t know how much of that is placebo effect. The machine itself is super sturdy and easy to use anywhere. Overall, I don’t have anything bad to say about it! Definitely worth the splurge if you’re into wellness.

I did allot of YouTube research on red light and chose this plate over a mask - and I'm so glad I did! The unit itself is sturdy and simple. Turn it on, get ready for intense light, and set the timer. I feel with the plate and it's radiance I get full coverage on my face and neck (which is what I was looking for). Glad I picked this brand due to it's price and specs.

Fantastic machine I’m doing slow and careful 5 minutes in morning 5 at night so far it’s been about two weeks skin has tightened in face reduced wrinkles and it has improved my vision ( I did have an eye surgery in the past year) this machine fired up my mitochondria I will never stop using these machines!

One of the biggest things I paid attention to was wavelength, and this unit offers the proper red light spectrum for surface-level support along with the option to use near infrared for deeper penetration, which is exactly what you want in a quality red light device. The build quality feels very solid and durable, and it arrived extremely well packaged with everything protected. I also really appreciate that it comes with protective goggles, which shows attention to safety and makes it easy to use right out of the box. Overall, this panel feels thoughtfully designed and well made. If you’re looking for a red light therapy device that offers both red and near infrared options with good construction, this is a great choice.

After doing some research I found that Hooga seemed to be the most affordable red light device that has science backed data and testing showing it had the proper wavelengths and strength. The build is very durable, while it is on there is a slight humming from the lights? and the fan but I do not think it is loud or noisy by any means. I do wish I got double the size for the product but I understand that it is pricey for a reason. I was surprised that the energy level really feels like it is penetrating my skin (at 6 inches which can be trickier to set up than I originally thought) but I do notice a decrease in depression and anxiety and slightly better sleep? It genuinely feels very nice when I use it, like sunbathing in the morning but no risk of sunburn. If I had the budget I would get 2 of the largest panels and stand in between every day for 15 min, but sadly I can only afford a small rectangle and use on my face/chest for now. I have tried using it on my back where I have pain from dental work, I do find it provides temporary relief, perhaps similar to heat therapy? But I am not sure if it provides any long term benefits for that purpose.
